Advertising materials must be provided in HTML5 format and be prepared in accordance with the requirements listed in the document “Technical requirements for HTML5 banners in Yandex.Display.”
Advertising materials must not contain elements of a graphical user interface (GUI) or elements of Yandex’s webpage design. You cannot use images of mouse cursors or other pseudo-functional buttons, it is forbidden to use Yandex’s search bar and other elements of the Yandex interface, and you cannot imitate the process of entering a search query.
The design of advertising materials must meet the requirements listed in the document “Requirements for banners on the Home page / Full site version”
Advertisers need to provide the following files in order to place ad materials:
- Banner in HTML5 format
- Graphic banner
1. Requirements for banner in HTML5 format
- A HTML5 HiDPI banner in accordance with the requirements listed in the document “HTML5 Banners. Requirements for ad materials / Technical requirements for HTML5 banners in Yandex.Display”
- File size: no more than 150 KB
- When scaling a page in the browser from 100% to 200%, there should not be artefacts or distortions on the banner.
- The
<META>tag shows the size of the banner file in the following manner:<meta name="ad.size" content="width=728,height=90">
2. Requirements for graphic banner
- Graphic banner 728×90 px in size. Maximum banner size — 150 KB.
- Second graphic banner 1456×180 px in size without artefacts or distortions in the text/images. Maximum banner size — 600 KB.
