Price list for the services provided by Yandex
  1. These prices do not include Swiss VAT (8%) unless stated otherwise.
  2. The minimum order value (unless agreed otherwise) is
    a. 500 USD
    b. 500 EUR
    c. 500 CHF
  3. CPM stands for cost per 1000 impressions.
  4. Any note that reads "1 day" means that delivery of the advertising material starts at 00:00 and finishes in 24 hours or when the number of impressions of the advertisements reaches the limit set out in the corresponding order, depending on which of the aforementioned events occurs later.
  5. Any note that reads "1 week" ("2 weeks", "4 weeks") means that the advertising material is delivered from 00:00 Monday until 24:00 the following Sunday (or 2 or 4 weeks later, respectively) or when the number of impressions of the advertisements reaches the limit set out in the corresponding order, depending on which of the aforementioned events occurs later. Only full-week packages are available.
  6. For the purposes of geotargeting, the term ‘Russian regions’ shall refer to constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as to the cities of the Russian Federation to which geotargeting setting is applicable. If Moscow is specified as the target region for display advertising, ads shall also be delivered in the Moscow Region. If St. Petersburg is specified as the target region for display advertising, ads shall also be delivered in the Leningrad Region.
  7. If conditions of advertising material delivery do not explicitly specify that advertising materials be delivered to mobile devices, these materials might not be delivered to placements adapted specifically for mobile services.
  8. If the procedure for advertising service cost calculation specifies that several rates shall apply, these rates shall apply one by one (i.e. multiplied by one another).
  9. Any suspended order for display advertising may be resumed only when the seasonal rate which was applied thereto for the purposes of service cost calculation is in effect.
  10. Any unspent amount of the payment for the delivery of the advertising material which had stopped running one week or more before any changes in the seasonal rate occurred may be refunded to the advertiser upon request, unless the advertiser and Yandex enter into different agreement.
  11. In case the price for media advertising services under present terms and conditions is expressed in other than USD, EUR, CHF currency (rubles, hryvna), this price shall be converted into the respective currency stipulated in the services agreement at the exchange rate of the currency to the Russian ruble, fixed by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the date of invoice/order
  12. While rendering the services of delivering media ads, the following settings can be applied (if that is explicitly stated in a specific clause of the Resolution):
    • Sociodemographic targeting: "gender", "gender and age", "gender, age, and income".
    • Behavioural retargeting:
      — Delivering advertising materials to users who have visited one of the advertiser’s sites specified when ordering the services (the target users are determined via a Metrica counter code installed on the advertiser’s web sites, hereafter referred to as "the Yandex code"). This targeting can only be set if the number of unique visitors to the advertiser’s site for the past 30 (thirty) days before the intended campaign start date has been no less than 50 000 (fifty thousand).
      — Behavioural retargeting from the Yandex’s services – the ads will be delivered to users who have already visited some sections of the Yandex’s services: Market, Auto, Realty, News. The advertiser’s selection of sections is subject to an agreement with Yandex. This targeting can only be set if for the last 30 (thirty) days before the intended campaign start date the number of users who demonstrate target behaviour has been no less than 50 000 (fifty thousand).
    • Service Segments "Audiences." The segment is generated by the advertiser using the "Audiences" service (https://audience.yandex.com). Using the settings is only possible when the number of unique users per segment / number of segments have been added to the advertiser using the service "auditor" will be no less than 50 000 (fifty thousand) people. The other parameters (including the name of the segment / group segments) segment and ways of its use are determined independently by the advertiser Web front-end.
    • Search retargeting – targeting users based on the search terms they used; this setting is provided on request. Yandex does not guarantee that this setting can be applied: the possibility to use the setting is determined by Yandex based on sufficiency of the number of target users needed to render the services comprehensively.
    • Audience interests – targeting a specific audience based on particular interests list; this setting is provided on an on demand basis. Yandex does not guarantee that this setting can be applied: the possibility to use the setting is determined by Yandex based on sufficiency of the number of target users needed to render the services comprehensively.
    • Light TV viewers – ads will be delivered to users who are determined by Yandex as the target group (light TV viewers – watch TV less than 6 (six) hours a week). The target group is determined by Yandex via online behaviour analysis using Crypta technology.
    • Heavy TV viewers – ads will be delivered to users who are determined by Yandex as the target group (heavy TV viewers – watch TV more than 6 (six) hours a week). The target group is determined by Yandex via online behaviour analysis using Crypta technology.
    • Targeting by categories of users upon the advertiser’s request. Yandex does not guarantee that this setting can be applied: the possibility to use the setting is determined by Yandex based on sufficiency of the number of target users needed to render the services comprehensively.
    • Content themes – a condition for display of advertising materials enabling display of advertising materials to users who, according to Yandex, visit web pages in the Internet with a certain content. The target group is determined by Yandex via analysis of user behaviour in the Internet associated with visiting website pages in the Internet having similar content (female content (melodramas, dramas, female shows, etc.), male content (action movies, thrillers, sport, etc.), children's content (animated cartoons, children's songs, etc.), family content (comedies, family shows, etc.).
    • Local geographic targeting — advertising materials are displayed to users whose geographical location within a city/region is specified by the advertiser.
    • Settings applicable only to display advertising materials on mobile devices and/or mobile applications (if applicable):
      — Mobile operators — advertising materials are displayed only on smartphones, phones and tablets of subscribers of certain mobile operators (provided that such devices can display advertising materials in the relevant format).
      — Operating systems — advertising materials are displayed only on smartphones, phones and tablets with certain operating systems; advertising materials are displayed provided that such devices can display advertising materials in the relevant format.
      — Mobile device manufactures — advertising materials are displayed only on smartphones, phones and tablets of certain brands (provided that such devices can display advertising materials in the relevant format).
      — Connection type — advertising materials are displayed only on smartphones, phones and tablets with a certain type of Internet connection (2G, 3G, WiFi, Ethernet);
      — The setting of banner display to potential users of the advertiser's mobile applications is available. Such users shall be identified by Yandex automatically using the Crypt technology (https://yandex.com/company/technologies/crypta/) based on the analysis of their Internet behavior.
    • Custom audience targeting — a condition for display of advertising materials enabling display of ads to users who, according to Yandex, belong to the target group of audience segments that are based on heuristic user behavior patterns and determined by the advertiser as target ones for a specific task. The target group is determined by Yandex via online behaviour analysis using Crypta technology.
    • Weather parameters targeting is automatically determined by Yandex.Weather. Yandex does not guarantee that this setting can be applied: the possibility to use the setting is determined by Yandex based on sufficiency of the number of target users needed to render the services comprehensively.
    • Temperature parameters targeting is automatically determined by Yandex.Weather. Yandex does not guarantee that this setting can be applied: the possibility to use the setting is determined by Yandex based on sufficiency of the number of target users needed to render the services comprehensively.
    • Property cost targeting — advertising materials are displayed to users reviewing property sale ads with the cost specified by the advertiser at Yandex.Realty (http://realty.yandex.ru/).
    • Property location targeting — advertising materials are displayed provided that the user views search results pages and/or pages of specific property, which location matches the region or cities specified by the advertiser.
    • Subway / subway line targeting — advertising materials are displayed provided that the user views search results pages and/or pages of specific property, which location matches subway stations / subway line specified by the advertiser.
    • New Buildings targeting — advertising materials are displayed on pages of the subsection “New Buildings” at Yandex.Realty (http://realty.yandex.ru/).
    • Resale Property targeting — advertising materials are displayed on pages of the subsection “Secondary Market” at Yandex.Realty (http://realty.yandex.ru/).
    • Commercial Property targeting — advertising materials are displayed on pages of the subsection “Commercial Property” at Yandex.Realty (https://realty.yandex.ru/commercial).
    • Devices and software targeting — advertising materials are displayed at types of devices as may be chosen by the advertiser: — at computers;
      — at smartphones;
      — at computers and tablets;
      — at smartphones and tablets;
      — at computers and smartphones;
      — at smartphones and Smart TV;
      — at computers, Smart TV and smartphones;
      — at tablets;
      — at Smart TV;
      — at computers, smartphones and tablets;
      — at smartphones, tablets and Smart TV;
      — at computers, smartphones, tablets and Smart TV.
    • Music genres targetings:
      — Targeting genre “Pop”. The genre “Pop” includes pop, estrade, latin folk. The advertising materials will be delivered on Yandex.Music and Yandex.Radio services after songs of the according genre.
      — Targeting genre “Rock”. The genre “Rock” includes metal, punk, postrock, hardcore, ukrrock. The advertising materials will be delivered on Yandex.Music and Yandex.Radio services after songs of the according genre.
      — Targeting genre “Electro / Dance Music”. The genre “Electro / Dance Music” includes techno, disco, sport, dance, electronics, house, trance, d’n’b, dubstep, industrial, dub. The advertising materials will be delivered Yandex.Music and Yandex.Radio services after songs of the according genre.
      — Targeting genre “Light Music”. The genre of “Light Music” includes jazz, lounge, relax, classical, blues, conjazz, tradjazz, country, meditation, reggae, romances. The advertising materials will be delivered on Yandex.Music and Yandex.Radio services after songs of the according genre.
      — Targeting genre “Chanson”. The genre “Chanson” includes shanson, bard music, Russian bard music. The advertising materials will be delivered on Yandex.Music and Yandex.Radio services after songs of the according genre.
      — Targeting the genre of “Rap”. The genre “Rap” includes Russian rap, rap, r’n’b. The advertising materials will be delivered on Yandex.Music and Yandex.Radio services after songs of the according genre.
    • Advertising networks targeting — advertising materials are displayed at a group of platforms forming part of an advertising network::

  13. If the description of advertising materials placement terms does not expressly state that advertising materials are displayed on mobile devices, advertising materials can not be shown in locations/services adapted for mobile devices.
  14. If several rates apply in the calculation of the cost of advertising materials placement services, these rates shall apply consistently (multiply).
  15. The suspended placement of a media advertising order can be renewed only while the seasonal rate applied to this suspended order in the calculation of the cost of services is valid.
  16. The unspent amount for the order, which placement stopped a week and more before the seasonal rate was changed, can be refunded to the advertiser upon its request unless the advertiser and Yandex come to any other agreement.
  17. The seasonal rate for all the Yandex services related to placement of advertising materials in the Internet (unless otherwise agreed in this Resolution and/or in the Yandex Europe AG Marketing Policy for 2017) shall be as follows:

  18. If the conditions of advertising material placement do not explicitly specify otherwise, geotargeting shall apply to the whole territory of the Russian Federation.
  19. The services of display advertising placement shall be rendered in compliance with the terms and conditions set out in the document "Procedure for placement of display advertising materials on Yandex internet display places" published in the public domain in the Internet at: https://yandex.com/legal/media_procedure_ch/.
  20. If the advertiser chooses “Auction” as a principle of media advertising placement, it will be able to use setting strategies to display its advertising materials publicly available in the Internet at: https://yandex.com/adv/products/materials/strategies.
  21. If the advertiser formats advertising materials in HTML5, such advertising materials shall meet the requirements stated in “HTML5 Banner Ads. Advertising Requirements” publicly available in the Internet at: https://yandex.com/adv/requirements/html5.
  22. Advertising materials shall meet the requirements stated in the “Yandex Home Page display advertising. Technical requirements for 728х90 banner ads with drop-down” available in the Internet at: https://yandex.com/adv/requirements/mainpage (if applicable).
  23. When providing services related to the placement of display advertising, Yandex may, at its own discretion, grant to an advertiser a discount amounting to the cost of invalid (improper or erroneous) impressions identified in accounting periods following the accounting period, in which such impressions were made. The said discount is not paid to the advertiser (inter alia, if the agreement is cancelled) and may be used by the advertiser only through placement of advertisements in the format of display advertising for the amount of the discount granted. The discount shall be granted to the advertiser having an agreement for the services that were not completed at the time of granting, or (in the absence of such agreement) - to the advertiser, who benefited from the services under the agreement that had terminated before the discount was granted. The said advertiser shall guarantee to Yandex that all requirements stipulated Yandex for the services involving ad placement to the amount of such discount will be met. Services provided to the amount of the discount granted shall be confirmed by Yandex statistics available to the advertiser in the client web interface.

  1. Dynamic placement. The recommended frequency shall be set to the default of RF = 3 per week. The maximum frequency setting period is 14 calendar days. Frequency can be set as agreed with the advertiser.
  2. It is possible to set geotargeting without any multiplier.
  3. Banners shall be displayed and the cost per impression shall be determined as follows:
    a. The auction takes place online, while a user loads a web page. The auction will result in display of a banner of the advertiser, which offered the highest bid for 1,000 impressions (CPM) in view of the entry threshold (minimum CPM specified in Table 1), in view of the options stipulated in cl. 1, 2.
    b. The cost per impression for the banner for strategies "Minimum CPM", "Budget" and "Average CPM" shall be determined based on the principle of a second price auction: if the advertiser offers the highest bid, the banner will be displayed at a price sufficient to win the bid (second highest bid + bidding step), but no less than the entry threshold (minimum CPM specified in Table 1).
    The cost per impression for the media banner for the strategy "Fixed CPM" shall be set by the advertiser via the interface by means of indicating the current CPM of placement, but no less than the entry threshold (minimum CPM specified in Table 1).
    c. Bidding step = RUB 1 (one) per thousand impressions (excl. VAT).

When placing with targeting on other cities, Russian regions and the CIS countries, the minimum order amount shall be 10,000 (ten thousand) impressions.
  5. A media and contextual banner shall be displayed on the right side of the search results page of Yandex. Search and can be displayed on search results pages Yandex partners’ resources (go.mail.ru and rambler.ru).
  6. Dynamic placement with the limited frequency of impressions per user R&F=3 within 28 (twenty eight) calendar days.
  7. When calculating the cost of services, no seasonal rates apply.
  8. The media and contextual banner shall not be displayed in Internet Explorer 6 and 7. The media and contextual banner shall be displayed in other browsers and other versions of Internet Explorer as usual under the terms specified herein.
  9. Yandex may, at own discretion and in view of the information it has, refuse to place simultaneously two or more media and contextual banners, which, at the same time:
    - have an identical or similar advertising item (the same or substantially similar goods (works, services) offered for sale in one region) and contain similar graphic information;
    - are placed by identical or overlapping keywords (word conbinations);
    - contain links to the same or similar websites and/or matches of stated and/or actual contact details of advertisers (suppliers of goods).
  10. In this respect, websites are deemed to be similar, if a considerable part of goods (works, services) offered on the websites and sold in one region is the same, and/or if there are other signs suggesting that the same goods are offered by the same suppliers (affiliated, closely interrelated) regardless of a slight difference in the range, different design, structure of the websites, different prices and regardless of whether the websites belong (are administered by) to different person/-s.
