Correct a spelling error

An incorrectly typed word is underlined with a wavy red line. You can correct it manually, or open the context menu to select one of the spellings suggested by the browser.

Tip. If you are sure you entered the word correctly but spellcheck doesn't recognize it, open the context menu and select Add to dictionary.

Change the spellcheck language for a single entry form

If you need to check the spelling of a word that isn't in the same language as the browser interface:

  1. In the text box, open the context menu.
  2. Choose Check spelling → Language.
  3. A window opens with a list of languages available in the browser. Choose a language from the list. If the language you need is not in the list, click Add and choose from the full list of languages supported by the browser.
  4. In the list of parameters next to the selected language, select the option Use this language for spell checking.

Now any spelling mistakes in the selected language will be underlined with a red wavy line.
