We have been busy over the past few months making it possible for advertisers to work with a single standard for visibility in Russian and international advertising campaigns. To do so, Yandex successfully underwent the certification procedure of display ad visibility according to the universal standards of the Media Rating Council. The purchase of video ads is already performed according to MRC standards. We will begin transferring auctions for the purchase of banner ads to this standard in July.
A new campaign type — display campaigns on the Home page — recently appeared on Yandex.Direct. This new campaign type opens up impressions on the Yandex Home page to businesses regardless of their size. Now even a small budget can help you raise your brand awareness with impressions on one of the most popular sites in the Russian internet.

Internet, May 22, 2018. Yandex has begun selling digital outdoor advertising via the auction model. Yandex’s first partner in this new project is Gallery, whose billboards will show the ads. This new placement method is currently being tested in Yandex.Display and is available to advertisers by request. By the end of the year, it will also be available in Yandex.Direct.
Starting today, you will notice a new addition to Yandex.Direct: display campaigns in pay-per-click format. You can now place HTML5 banners in the Yandex Advertising Network, for audiences with the characteristics and interests that you choose yourself.
Yandex.Direct will soon become the one-stop shop for all your Yandex advertising campaigns.
