A/B testing is now available in Mobile Mediation

Tired of taking blind guesses when setting up your ad campaigns? With a new A/B testing tool, you don’t have to waste time adjusting different setting options. Run tests, evaluate the performance, and choose the most profitable ones.


Experiment with different parameter sets such as ad networks and CPM-floors, run tests for ad blocks in any format, and let smart algorithms do what they do best: analyze data to find the most profitable ad setups.

What parameters are measured? 

You can track revenue, impressions, show rates and eCPM. After testing various setting options of your choosing, the algorithms will evaluate them and select the option with the highest revenue. However, you have complete control over the preferences and can revert to the defaults at any time.

What settings can you change? 

  • Ad Networks. 
  • CPM-floors (for networks connected via Smart Waterfall technology).

You can apply multiple variables at once. This, however, may make the results difficult to interpret. That is why it is best to make one change at a time, so you can see what works and what doesn’t.

How to get started 

Setup is a breeze. Just follow these simple steps and you’re good to go:

  1. Choose the block you want to test. 
  2. Click A/B test on the block editing page. 
  3. Create an A/B test: specify its name, test group size (options include 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 percent), and testing duration.
  4. Execute the test (it will automatically stop once the time limit is reached).
  5. Get the results and fine-tune the parameters. 

Since the Mobile Mediation AI algorithms take time to learn, we recommend that you run the test for at least 14 days with a minimum of 10,000 impressions per block.
