Flutter is a popular cross-platform framework for building mobile applications. With Flutter, developers can use a single codebase to write code that is compatible across multiple operating systems, including Android and iOS.
Now it will be easier to monetize Android and iOS apps created with Flutter. We’re giving YAN partners access to a straightforward plugin that can be used to easily integrate Yandex monetization.
We follow market trends and strive to ensure that monetization in YAN is available for applications created on all popular platforms and frameworks. That’s why we promptly responded to partner requests asking for a Flutter plugin.
Why monetize with Yandex?
Yandex Advertising Network is one of the largest networks for monetizing websites and applications in Eastern Europe and is among the most profitable networks for applications in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Asia[1].
The advertising network brings together ads from advertisers across more than 30 industries. In addition to advertising from its own ad service, Yandex Direct, the auction features ads from more than 50 of our reliable partners using other DSP systems.
When selecting an ad for an app user, YAN carefully weighs over 1000 factors. This is how users see ads that interest them and publishers maximize revenue.
Available ad formats
Flutter applications can host advertising formats popular among mobile game developers. These include:
- Banners — Small ad units in which text and image ads, media ads, and video ads can be shown. We recommend using banners in applications with short user sessions and placing them at the bottom or top of the screen.
- Interstitial ads take up the entire screen of a smartphone and are optimally suited for scenarios in which the user moves from one logical stage to another in the application. For example, to a new level in a game or from one part of an app’s content to another.
- Rewarded ads also take up the entire screen of the smartphone, and if the user watches the video to the end, they receive a reward or in-game currency. This type of ad is often preferred by game developers, but non-game applications can also use it. For instance, they can provide access to an article, a new chapter of a book or to music as a reward.
How publishers earn revenue
YAN pays partners on a monthly basis if the partner has reached the minimum payout threshold. Payments can be made in different currencies: euros, dollars, or rubles, depending on the country in question.
