Our Report Wizard helps you analyze campaign performance through detailed metrics that reveal what’s working and where to improve.
This latest version keeps all the metrics you rely on while adding significant improvements:
- Lightning-fast report loading
- Logically grouped metrics for easier navigation
- Ability to save your preferred dimensions and metrics as presets
- Flexible report manipulation with row sorting, column management, and more
Access the new Report Wizard now through your Statistics menu:
Report settings
Create reports tailored to your exact needs by combining specific data segments with the metrics that matter most to your goals. Configure everything through the streamlined settings menu.
Key settings at your fingertips:
- Period
Select your timeframe in the upper-left corner — either choose a custom date range or use our ready-made options.
The new “Include current day” toggle adds flexibility: requesting the last seven days on April 10 with this option on shows April 4–10, while turning it off shows April 3–9. - Dimensions and metrics
Choose which data segments to analyze (dimensions) and which performance indicators to measure (metrics).
We’ve integrated additional cross-sections into the new wizard. For example, you can now create “Search queries” reports directly from targeting cross-sections without switching reports. We’ve organized all metrics into three logical groups to streamline your analysis: traffic metrics (impressions, clicks, CTR, reach), performance metrics (conversions, CR, CPA, CRR), and reach advertising metrics (SOV, views, visibility). Select exactly what you need for your current analysis.
- Goals
Select which goals to track and which attribution model to apply. When tracking multiple goals, specify whether to view combined results or separate data for each goal. - Filters
Zero in on critical data by filtering out the noise. All indicators are now organized into intuitive categories for easier navigation. Our more powerful filtering now supports complex conditions — find campaigns containing “brand” and “Moscow” but not “promo”, for instance. - Detail level
Break down your data by days, weeks, months, quarters, or years. Without a specified breakdown, you’ll see aggregated data for your entire selected period.
Preset settings
The wizard comes with sensible defaults, but you can quickly create your own. Set up your preferred goals, metrics, and dimensions, then click Save Report settings in the upper-right dropdown menu. Your preferences remain saved for future sessions. Need to share your view with colleagues? Simply share the link to preserve your exact report configuration.
Working with the report
Each column now features a quick action menu. It lets you:
- Switch between absolute values and percentages
- Reposition columns for better viewing
- Sort data in ascending or descending order
- Apply metric-specific filters
- Remove or resize columns
Revenue and conversion value
Revenue is the money a company earns through the promotion of products or services.
Starting April 17, 2025, we’re standardizing how the Revenue metric works across all reports to help you better evaluate campaign ROI. The metric will now calculate based solely on the goals you specifically select.
If you manually change the list of selected goals, the revenue for previous periods will also be recalculated based on the new approach.
To designate which goals should contribute to revenue calculations, visit the appropriate setting in the Conversions section.
Revenue — and all metrics calculated from it (CRR, ROI, and profit) — is based solely on data from your selected goals.
Goals without transmitted revenue data won’t affect calculations until that data starts flowing into Yandex Direct.
With multiple selected goals, revenue represents the sum across all goals chosen on your Revenue metric settings page, drawing from Yandex Metrica, mobile trackers, or offline conversion data.
We’ve also added a complementary Conversion value metric that estimates total business revenue from goal completions. You can set values manually in strategy settings or receive them through Yandex Metrica, mobile trackers, or offline conversions. Related metrics — CRR, ROI, and profit by value — are also available in the new Report Wizard.
