Suggestions based on YandexGPT are now available in expert mode and the Campaign Wizard, saving you time during the setup of ad targeting in Yandex Direct. Let’s discuss this new feature.
Why it’s important
Targeting based on interests and habits enables you to engage users who showed interest in your products or services a few days prior, or are currently considering them.
Previously, to set up targeting criteria, you had to enter the exact name of the interest and select an appropriate option from the dropdown list. Now, you can describe your audience in your own words.
How it works
Yandex Direct will suggest targeting based on exact matches. Then, the AI Suggestions will suggest the following:
- similar interests and habits,
- locations frequently visited by your potential customers,
- sites and apps they might use.
To do this, the algorithms analyze your query and select targeting options based on your description.
For example, you can describe the audience of a children’s goods store promoting the “For babies” category as “parents of kids”, and select the appropriate targeting settings. After that, the system will display your ad to the selected audience on the Yandex Advertising Network.
