How these ads look

An ad in Telegram looks like a regular post in the messenger and is selected based on its relevance and the topic of the channel.

Each ad contains an image or video clip, an "Ad" tag, and a link to information about the advertiser. Additional elements may be added: an age restriction tag, a disclaimer, or extra links.

How it works

Pay only for clicks on ads

Don’t pay for impressions; pay only for ad clicks during the first 48 hours after its placement.

Reach out to users in the most native and vivid format

Add up to 700 characters of text, an image, or a video — the system will create an ad from them that will be indistinguishable from other messages in the feed.

Reach out to the Telegram audience via Yandex Direct

Place ads only for the messenger audience through the Yandex Direct interface and continue to work with users who came to your site all the way down the sales funnel using familiar performance and reach tools.

Don’t worry about labeling

Leave everything to us — we automatically attach a link in the ad to the “About the advertiser” page, which contains all the labeling information.

Placement in Telegram via Yandex Direct expands the contextual advertising toolbox in the direction of native placement while creating additional opportunities for conversion growth and providing great potential for testing non-standard approaches in advertising. This type of campaign is on the verge of native integrations and context capabilities. How to start advertising

The ad launches in the standard Yandex Direct interface. You only need to choose Telegram as an impression location for text and image campaigns, set a weekly budget and the maximum cost per click. Then you can add text and visual elements.

After the campaign starts, placement statistics will appear in the Report Wizard.
