Ads for catalog pages are shown on Yandex Search and YAN sites. They help expand your campaign’s reach, speed up strategy training, and drive additional conversions.
How to set up ads for catalog pages in Unified Performance Campaigns
- In the Unified Performance Campaign (UPC), select the new ad type — catalog pages.
- Specify the catalog page source.
You can select catalog pages on a site, or you can upload a CSV file or YML feed of catalog pages either from a link or directly from your computer.
Let’s examine each option in more detail:
Catalog pages on a site. For the Yandex Direct robot to identify these pages correctly, use the Schema.org structured data tags on the site. Ads will be created automatically for all catalog pages found on the site.
Feed uploaded by link or from computer. You can use CSV files with the pages you need as a feed, or a YML feed:
- CSV files should contain only catalog pages. Include the catalog name and link in this file. We recommend filling out as many fields as possible, including description, image, and minimum cost. To check the file requirements, go to Help. This is a good option if you only want to advertise certain sections and don’t use a YML feed or Schema.org structured data tags in the site code.
- The YML feed must contain the special <collection> tag to send information about catalogs: ID, link, image, name, and description. We recommend also passing links to catalogs within offers. See Help to learn more.
If you send data about catalog pages using a feed, you can select the ones you need using a filter when configuring ads.
How to evaluate results
To help you track performance for all ad types, we’ve updated the statistics in the Report Wizard. Using the Ad Type cross section, you can analyze impressions, clicks, conversions, and other metrics for product ads and catalog pages.
