A very beautiful and unusual monument. The complex itself is very decent. I was in Vienna in December 2013 and took a tour along the route of the "red bus". The memorial is well maintained, clean, there were flowers. But! The text of the audio guide was just outraged! Approximately the following - "In front of you is a pretentious and tasteless monument of the Soviet era. The inhabitants of Vienna do not like it and call it a monument to an unknown marauder. ..." and further about how the "Soviet invaders" looted Vienna, raped all women from 8 years old to... and so on, in the same spirit... and my friend, who attended this tour about six months before, said that the text was completely different - neutral and respectful.
