An interesting monument is the Column of the Holy Trinity (the Plague Column, built according to the oath of Leopold l after the victory over the terrible plague in 1679). It represents the victory of Faith over the epidemic... Walking in the center of Vienna, you begin to understand Austrian culture from such monuments. The Plague Column is a rather controversial and somewhat obscure statue, or a group of statues, also known as the statue of the Holy Trinity. It was built as a monument to the victims of the plague. According to Leopold's vow. It consists conditionally of three components. The lower part is earthly affairs and cares, the middle one is angels and other beings, and the upper one is actually the holy Trinity. One of the advantages is the very center of Vienna, Lenko can be reached, the metro is nearby. Of the minuses, there are always heaps of tourists
