# Name and short name

To change the name:

1. On the **Businesses** page, click the link with the company name.
2. In the left-side menu, go to **About the business** → **Data**.
3. Go to the **Name in different languages** section. Here you can enter the company and short names and select additional languages.
    
   To pass moderation, the new name must meet the [placement requirements](https://yandex.com/support/business-priority/en/add-company/info-terms.md#name).
    
4. Click **Save changes** at the bottom of the page.

If your business has [rebranded](*rebranded), then, in addition to the name, you need to change the [logo and photos](https://yandex.com/support/business-priority/en/manage/photos.md) that display the old name.

If rebranding assumes that [the branch leaves the chain](https://yandex.com/support/business-priority/en/branches/branches-exit.md), changing the name alone is not enough. You need to create a new company profile.
