Customize the map

To customize the Yandex.Navigator map's appearance:

  1. Tap .
  2. Go to Settings → Advanced settings → Map and interface:
    • Map type — Map or Satellite mode.
    • Night mode — Screen adjustment for dark conditions. To switch the mode manually, tap On or Off. To allow the mode to switch itself automatically, tap Auto.
    • 3D mode — 3D map display.
    • Autozoom — Automatically change the map scale when driving.
    • North is always up — Locks the map's orientation.
      Attention. If this setting is enabled, traffic lanes are not displayed.
    • Cursor — Shows your location on the map.
    • Weather on map — Shows the temperature in the top left corner of the map.
    • Alternative routes — offers other routes while driving.

    You can also:

    • Configure how road events are displayed.
    • Choose the language and voice for voice prompts.
    • Add your favorite places to the map.
