Library of negative keywords

The library of negative keywords is a folder where you can group frequently used negative keywords into special sets. You can create up to 30 sets and use them in several groups of Text & Image ads at once. Up to three sets of negative keywords can be assigned to one group. Library sets supplement the negative keywords specified in the group and affect ad impressions the same way.

You must use the Yandex.Direct new interface to create sets of negative keywords and manage them.

How to create a set of negative keywords

In the menu on the left, select Library → Negative keywords. On the page that opens, click Add set in the upper-right corner. Enter a name for the set and add negative keywords separated by commas or -. The maximum number of characters (excluding spaces) is 4096.

You can also quickly create a new set based on the existing one. In the settings of the appropriate set, click Create based on. All negative keywords from the original set will be copied to the new set.

When editing a set of negative keywords in the library, changes are applied to all the groups that the set is associated with. Before editing, check in the In groups column which groups the set is used in.
