Bid adjustments for weather: use cases
Weather bid adjustments offer a new way to increase the relevance of your ads and set up automatic campaign management depending on the weather conditions.
Tips for use
- Increase the bid when it rains or snows
- This may apply to ads for seasonal items, delivery and taxi services, pharmaceuticals, and medicine.
Use a higher bid for food delivery ads in bad weather. Add a bid adjustment to your food delivery ad group. When selecting bid adjustment conditions on the Weather tab, click At least one fulfilled. Set an adjustment based on precipitation intensity: increase the bid by 50% for light or scattered precipitation, but increase the bid by 100% for heavy precipitation, downpours, and snow storms.
