Warning

All Telegram channels undergo several moderation stages and are checked for compliance with the requirements of the Yandex Advertising Network and the Russian laws. Yandex algorithms check channels for fraud, bot activity, content quality, and sensitive topics. Channels that don't meet the requirements aren't admitted to the network.

However, channels may still feature situational content that you don't want to appear next to your ads. In such cases, Brand Safety will either prevent your ad from being posted or remove it if sensitive content appears immediately after your ad post.

Brand Safety ensures your ads in Telegram channels don't appear next to unwanted content.

How Brand Safety works

Brand Safety reviews ads in two stages: before and after they are posted.

Before posting

Yandex algorithms analyze posts in the Telegram channel where an ad is planned to be placed. They check both recent and older posts. If undesirable content is detected, the ad won't be posted.

If there's an unwanted post, your promotional post will only appear once at least 15 other posts have been published after the unwanted post.

After posting

The algorithms continue to analyze new posts in the channel even after the ad is posted. If content that doesn't meet Brand Safety requirements appears after your ad post, the ad is automatically deleted.

Your promotional post can only appear again once at least 15 other posts are published after the unwanted post.

How to enable Brand Safety

On the campaign edit page, under Advanced settings, enable Brand Safety.

Warning

Enabling Brand Safety may lead to a decrease in impressions if the ad doesn't get posted or gets deleted after a review of the channel.
