# Weapons and products similar in construction to weapons
There are restrictions to the advertising of products and services related to weapons and products similar in construction to weapons in Yandex.Direct. This is due to legal requirements and Yandex policies.
For example, you can promote:

- [Training in the handling of weapons](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/moderation/categories/weapons-shooting-schools.md).
- Kitchen knives and multitools.
- Consumables (supplies) for products similar in construction to weapons.
Yandex Direct does not allow promotion of weapons of any kind, including:
- Edged weapons and firearms.
- Hunting weapons.
- Gas weapons (including gas pistols, revolvers, pepper spray) and flare guns.
- Air guns with muzzle energy higher than 3 joules, sporting guns.
- Pneumatic weapons, including pistols, revolvers with calibers of 4.5 mm or more and a bullet speed of more than 100 meters per second, rifles, and sporting guns.
- Antique or souvenir weapons.
- Stun guns, TASERs, batons, brass knuckles, etc.
Likewise, the service does not allow promotion of the main components of firearms (barrels, breechblocks, cylinders, triggers, etc.), bullets and ammunition for firearms, or their components (bullets, cartridges). Your ads must meet the legal requirements of the countries where you want to serve them.
