# Debt collection and write-off
You can promote debt collection and write-off in Yandex Direct.
However, ads in this category can't be placed as [display banners on Yandex Browser's new tab page](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/products-cpm-campaign-frontpage/about.md) or [catalog channels^β^](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/messengers-ads/features-views.md#restriction).
Your ads must meet the legal requirements of the countries where you want to serve them.

1. If you are promoting services for debt collection from individuals, the following notice is automatically added to text ads: "Interaction only by mail according to paragraph 3, part 1, article 4 of Federal Law No. 230-FZ dated July 3, 2016."^*^.
If communication with debtors may come in the form of personal meetings, phone calls, SMS messages, emails, or messenger communications, you must provide additional documents in order to place your ads.
In other cases, which are specified in legislation, special documents are not required.

- Copy of the registration in the State Register of Legal Entities as a company whose primary line of business is collecting payments in arrears.

^*^You must add this notice to image ads in unified performance campaigns, video ads, and creatives for display campaigns yourself.
2. To promote services related to individual bankruptcy or reduction or termination of financial obligations, including informational materials, the following notice is required: "Bankruptcy entails negative consequences, including credit restrictions and a five-year re-bankruptcy ban. First contact your creditor and My Documents (MFC) center."
For text ads, this notice is added automatically. For image ads in unified performance campaigns, video ads, and creatives in display campaigns the notice must be added manually by you. [More information about notices](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/moderation/age-alerts.md)
Promotion of such services must not include:
- Guarantees of releasing an individual from monetary obligations or mandatory payments.
- Claims that an individual can avoid monetary obligations or mandatory payments, or calls to do so.
- Claims that the state has created a system that releases individuals from monetary obligations or mandatory payments.
- Mentions that individuals can be released from monetary obligations or mandatory payments.
3. Ads must not feature any national symbols (flag, coat of arms, or anthem) or claim that the promoted objects are approved by state authorities, local governments, or their officials.
