Information about subscriptions
If you're promoting a messenger channel, please note that you can check how many new subscribers your campaign has brought in your channel settings or using third-party tools, rather than in Yandex Direct. To do this, manually create an invite link and use it as a landing page when creating a campaign or ad.
Telegram channel
Give a clear link name that reflects your campaign name and settings in Yandex Direct.
Create separate invite links to make it easier to assess the performance of individual campaigns or ads.
Created links can be edited (for example, you can change its name).
How to create an invite link
-
If you are a Telegram channel owner, click the channel name or image and select Channel Settings → Channel Type → Manage Invite Links → Create a New Link.
-
If you are a Telegram channel admin, click the channel name or image and select Channel Settings → Invite Links → Create a New Link.
Click
→ Manage Channel → Invite Links → Create a New Link.
Tracking subscriptions over time
The list of invite links shows how many people joined the channel through each link.
If you have more than 50 subscribers, you can see in the Telegram channel statistics how many people subscribed on a particular day. Telegram counts subscriptions taking into account those users who left the channel, so data should be analyzed multiple times a day.
Calculating the suscription cost
For an invite link used in a Yandex Direct ad, you can calculate the cost per subscriber (CPS) using the formula:
CPS = Advertising costs / Number of subscriptions
MAX channel
When promoting a MAX channel, you can use invite links to grow your audience. Please note that viewing subscriber analytics broken down by specific links or referral channels isn't currently supported.
How to create an invite link
Click the channel name or picture, then copy the link from the Link field.
Warning
For private channels, only an invite link can be used.
Click the channel name or picture → Invite via link, then copy the link from the Invite link field.
