AppMetrica pixel for mobile apps

For display campaigns promoting mobile apps, set up the AppMetrica pixel. It helps assess how display ads in mobile apps contribute to app installs and in-app actions, and measure the resulting conversions.

Settings

To track post-view and post-click installs and events, set up a tracking link and add it to your ad:

  1. Integrate the AppMetrica SDK with your app.

  2. Set up your tracking link. Learn more about installing the AppMetrica pixel in AppMetrica Help. Installing the pixel doesn’t require any additional payment.

  3. Create an ad campaign. To advertise a mobile app, you can use display banners and video ads.

  4. In the Link in ad field, enter the tracking link from AppMetrica. In the Impression tag field, enter the Impression URL from AppMetrica.

  5. Launch the campaign.

Extended statistics for your display campaign (including post-view and post-click installs and events) are available only in AppMetrica.

Note

Currently, AppMetrica can only track users who install your app after viewing or clicking your ad. You’ll also see in-app event data for these users moving forward.

If a user had already installed your app at the time of the ad impression or click, their in-app events won’t be attributed to your ad and won’t show up in campaign reports. This feature will be supported in future updates.
