Requirements for TV billboard

Technical requirements

1. To place display ads in the billboard format, provide their HTML5 files. They must meet the Requirements for HTML banners. All files related to the same ad unit must have the same name.

2. The billboard must not mimic the site design: you can't use the site's brand colors or interface elements. The creative must not blend in with the site background.

3. Minimum billboard size: 984 × 180 pixels for a 100% × 180 creative.

   The billboard must stretch to 100% of the screen width and display correctly at any screen width. When changing the billboard size, all the meaningful information must be centered along the width of 1400 pixels.

   The billboard size is specified in the <meta> element:

   <meta name="ad.size" content="width=100%,height=180">
   

4. We don't accept billboards that have large flashing images or text elements and/or a background; rapid movements of elements that significantly distract users from interacting with the device; or are filled with low-quality text or images.

5. You can't add a border around the billboard.

1. The margin between the edge of the billboard and the text or button must be at least 30 pt:

2. Text and other billboard elements can't overlap the safe areas.

   Sizes of safe areas:

   • Label: 60 × 20.

   • Three dots: 42 × 42.

   In the example below, safe areas are highlighted in red:

   

Moderation requirements

Billboards in the following categories are not accepted for placement:

• politics

• magic and esotericism

• religious items and services

• debt collection services

• funeral products and services

• social advertising, including charitable organizations

• services of detectives and private security companies

• products and services for adults (such as sex toys or erotic materials)

• firearm accessories

• products similar in construction to weapons and their accessories

• military topics (such as transportation of military personnel or legal assistance in obtaining a military ID)

• website optimization and SEO services

• disinfection and pest control services

• certain financial services and training courses on them (microfinancing, loan offers from individuals, binary options, Forex dealer activities, transactions with Forex dealers, and others)

• other topics that do not comply with Yandex editorial policy
