Requirements for banners on Auto.ru

General requirements

To place display ads, provide HTML5 files. You can use GIF, JPEG, PNG files for fixed-size placements. All files related to the same ad unit must have the same name.

Ads in HTML5 format must meet the Requirements for HTML banners.

The banner must not mimic the site design (you can't use brand colors or interface elements. The creative must not blend in with the site background).

Additional requirements

Superbanner, double snippet (100% × 250)

1. Format: HTML5 only.

2. Maximum archive size: 512 KB.

3. Maximum size of the index.html file is 150 KB.

4. "Superbanner, double snippet" size: 100% × 250 pixels.

5. The width of 100% corresponds to the range between 880 and 2880 pixels in this format.

6. The banner's main message is limited to the 880–1212 pixel range.

7. The banner must stretch to 100% of the screen width, correctly displaying within the user screen width. When changing the banner size, all the meaningful information must be horizontally centered.

8. An uploaded HTML5 banner must have a size of 100% × 250 pixels. The banner size is specified in the <meta> element:

   <meta name="ad.size" content="width=100%,height=250">
   

9. We don't accept banners with large flashing images or text elements and/or a background or with sharp movements of elements that significantly distract users from interacting with the site page, as well as banners filled with low-quality text or images.

10. You can't add a border around the banner. Exception: if the background or bottom of the Superbanner is white (RGB #ffffff), add a gray strip (RGB #f3f3f3) with a height of 1 pixel along the bottom edge of the banner so that your ads don't blend in with the Auto.ru background.

Branding (100% × 520, 100% × 180)

You need to prepare two banners:

Desktop version (100% × 520)

1. Format: HTML5 only.

2. Maximum archive size: 512 KB.

3. Maximum size of the index.html file is 150 KB.

4. "Desktop version" size: 100% × 520 pixels.

5. The width of 100% corresponds to the range between 888 and 1220 pixels in this format.

6. The banner's main info is restricted to the range between 888 and 1220 pixels.

7. The banner must stretch to 100% of the screen width, correctly displaying within the user screen width. When changing the banner size, all the meaningful information must be horizontally centered.

8. An uploaded HTML5 banner must have a size of 100% × 520 pixels. The banner size is specified in the <meta> element:

6. Advertiser domain text: A maximum of 22 characters. Required.

7. Disclaimer: A maximum of 83 characters. Optional element.
