# Setup in the Campaign Wizard

### Add an organization to Yandex Business

For your organization to appear in Yandex Maps, add it via the organization selection interface in your campaign or in your [Yandex Business](https://yandex.ru/sprav) account.

The more details you provide, the more eye-catching and appealing to users your company becomes, and the more impressions it receives. Specify its name, contact information, and business hours. Add a logo, cover, photos, products, and services. For more information, see [How to fill out an organization profile](https://business.yandex.ru/instructions/organization/?utm_source=adv&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=article-link&utm_content=business) on the Yandex Business portal.

If your organization is already added, [find](https://yandex.ru/sprav/add) it and verify your ownership.

### Selecting an organization

Enter a link to your site. Your company automatically appears under **Promoting a company from Yandex Business**. Make sure that the option is enabled.

If the organization can't be found, add it manually. Click **Add organization**. If the desired organization is missing from the list, click **Create organization** and complete its profile.

If you'd like to promote your products or services without a site, add the organization manually in the same way.

Make sure a link to the promoted page is specified in the organization's profile. Users who click the ad text in the organization profile will land on your promoted page. If no link is specified, the ad text in the organization profile is unclickable.

### Ad placement

If you enable the **Promote a company from Yandex Business** option, your ads will automatically appear on the placements **Yandex Maps** and **List of organizations, hotels, and service gallery**.

### Conversions

Choose your promotion goal and conversions. For more effective promotion, add goals from the site and some tag goals for the organization profile. This tag is created automatically for the organization profile and records such user actions as clicking the “Call” button, clicking the “Build route” button, going to a messenger, and others.

If you choose the "Maximum conversions" goal, add at least one goal from the site and at least one tag goal for the organization profile. You won't save the campaign otherwise.

### Setting up an ad

1. Enter the ad title and text: they are displayed in the organization profile in Yandex Maps and in the list of organizations in search results. Learn more about [creating](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/efficiency/text-and-title.md) titles and texts.

2. Enter the [phone number](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/efficiency/phone.md) of the organization. It will be displayed in the organization profile in your impressions.
3. By default, an action button will be added to your ad. The button text and link are generated from the Yandex Business tag goals configured in your campaign. The button will appear in the ad if it wins the auction.

Other ad elements, such as images, videos, or sitelinks, aren't displayed in the organization profile.

### Notes on impressions

**Geotargeting**

[Regions](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/efficiency/geotargeting.md) selected in the campaign settings don't affect impressions in Yandex Maps or in the list of organizations in search results. For example, a user from Moscow is searching for an organization in Saint Petersburg. They may still see relevant profiles of organizations in the selected region. Other organizations may be displayed when changing the map scale.

However, if you offer local services, you can set a specific region on the map — for example, a 3-kilometer radius around your coffee shop. If you do this:
  - The system will automatically find an audience within that radius.
  - Your business profile will show up only when your coffee shop appears on the map actively viewed by the user.

  Keep in mind that this geotargeting setting significantly reduces the number of potential customers who will see your business profile.

**Autotargeting**

For effective promotion in Yandex Maps, all [query categories](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/impression-criteria/autotargeting.md) must be enabled. To do this, under **Audience**, leave the default setting, **Optimal audience**.

The organization's ad is only served if its categories match the user's search term and if relevant products and services are available in the organization profile.

In contrast to Yandex global search, Yandex Maps users are more likely to search for information using broad queries.

For search queries involving brand names on Yandex Maps, your ads will appear in the ["Similar places" carousel](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/company-ads/maps.md#how-it-works).

**Keywords**

[Keyword targeting](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/keywords/keywords.md) doesn't apply to Yandex Maps and the list of organizations in search results.

**Interests and habits**

When users are [browsing Yandex Maps without a specific search query](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/company-ads/maps.md#no-search), organization pins are displayed based on user [interests and habits](https://yandex.com/support/direct/en/products-text-image-ads/user-profile.md).

Because users on Yandex Maps are primarily looking for specific companies, you may see fewer impressions based on interests and habits in your statistics.
