I was at the Legvtakhevi waterfall in Tbilisi - the place is really amazing. It is located right in the old town, in the gorge that used to be called the "gorge of fig trees". People came here in ancient times because the water from these springs fed the famous sulfur baths. It is said that it was in this area that Tbilisi was founded, thanks to the hot springs. Today it is a well-kept corner in the city center. Stone bridges, cliffs, coolness from the waterfall - and all this is just a stone's throw from the noisy streets. In the evening, the lights turn on, and the water looks especially beautiful. The streets nearby are also wonderful: old houses with carved balconies and wine bars, cozy cafes. You walk, look back at the waterfall, then you get lost again among these small courtyards and arches. For me, this is one of the strongest impressions in Tbilisi - nature and history are intertwined here so harmoniously that it seems as if the city breathes this place.

It's a very pleasant place. In the heat, there is simply salvation - a shady gorge with suspended water. Last year, the catwalks were renovated, and there are benches to sit and contemplate the beauty. You can walk past the baths, or go up/down the spiral staircase. The stairs take you to the wonderful cozy streets. It is especially beautiful in the evening by the light of lanterns.
