Delicious food, reasonable prices for a place in the very center, good portions, there is alcohol, a calm cozy soft atmosphere, not noisy, pleasant background music, you can communicate, high-quality service. I have been here several times with a long break over the years. A great place for dates, birthdays, corporate parties, as well as for business meetings. There is a separate enclosed area from the common room.
A very pleasant place in the city center. Although the menu does not shine with a super variety of dishes (personally, I would like to see a larger selection of dishes of national cuisine), but everything is very tasty. The staff is very kind and efficient, although the young people had some problems understanding the nuances of the Russian language, but the older comrades "sorted everything out" almost instantly.
The price tag, by local standards, is not small, but by Moscow standards it is more than humane.
In general, I can recommend this institution with a clear conscience.
The most atmospheric place in Tashkent. An unambiguous recommendation to visit. I have seen many places stylized as Soviet catering, but no one has achieved such authenticity even close.
In the menu, which does not exist, there is one dish- a piece of Tobacco, which has never been smoked at all, but is very tasty. Textured waitresses - they will not bring you anything, in a "queue" (in the sense of a small friendly crowd, which is usually used in Uzbekistan instead of a queue) at the checkout for food and at the bar you will have to stand by yourself - they scurry around a seemingly always full Corner with a businesslike air. The casting is divine.
There are 2 floors here - choose the first one: they smoke here, there are always a lot of people, it's noisy and vodka is brought in faceted glasses. and so it has been for 60 years… Without all this, the Corner is just a good grilled chicken.
