We were in Gudauta for three days. We stayed at a nearby hotel. We haven't been to the cafe itself, but the cafe has its own khachapuri, with a window on the street. You can come up and order khachapuri in Abkhaz style, with cheese and herbs. They cook in front of you. Waiting time is 10 minutes . And a large khachapuri, with fervor and heat, is put in a cardboard box, like a pizza. There are different versions of khachapuri. It was very tasty and satisfying. We bought Apsny red wine and khachapuri. On the balcony of the hotel, with a panorama of the moonlit path in the sea, we ate khachapuri and drank wine. The staff is friendly and welcoming. In August 2025, we visited the Sukhum cafe again. We ordered khachapuri with cheese and boats. Very satisfying and delicious. In the afternoon we went to a cafe and ordered hot appetizers. Delicious. Home cooking is home cooking. The prices are reasonable. With gratitude to the staff.

We lived nearby and went to the Sukhum cafe for lunch — and now it's one of our favorite places! The atmosphere immediately captivates: you feel like visiting good friends. And the staff is just a miracle: incredibly friendly, attentive, they will prompt you and help you with the choice. The kitchen is a separate story. We tried the boat — and it was love from the first bite! There are so many fillings that it's immediately clear: they don't save on guests here, and the dough just melts in your mouth. The hodgepodge turned out to be rich, fragrant and exactly what it should be — hot and very tasty. The meat in Abkhazian also won over: juicy, spicy, fresh — it feels like it is cooked with a soul. The shish kebab is soft and juicy, and the compote is the best in the heat. All the dishes were served hot, the portions were generous, and the taste was such that you wanted to come back again and again. I definitely advise you to take a look at this cafe: the food is excellent here, and the welcome is so warm that you don't want to leave at all. ❤️

For those who are traveling to Gudauta for the first time, I say right away that the food here is the most delicious, the portions are decent, and the cost is less than the average in the city. Feel free to take whatever your heart desires, everything is very tasty here. Payment in cash. Very hospitable and warm-hearted people work here. They often serve more in a serving than they ordered. Addendum (August 2025). Still the best food in town. My top dishes: tangerine juice, eggplant salad. But everything is delicious!
