A large and beautiful castle from the 15th century, which was previously a royal residence. Several Scottish kings and queens have been crowned in this castle. The most famous of them is Mary Stuart. We were a little unlucky that when we were in the castle there was a dense fog, so we looked inside rather than outside the castle. By the way, the castle is very well preserved.
