One of the few Orthodox Churches not occupied by the Turks! A very significant Holy Place for the Orthodox! It has been prayed for for centuries, the beauty is indescribable, every nook is permeated by the invisible presence of God's Grace, very beautiful Icons, the interesting history of the Temple! I definitely recommend visiting when arriving in Northern Cyprus! God preserve everything created by Our Orthodox Ancestors for Us! Amen to that!

An interesting historical and Christian place. Of course, I recommend you to visit, because inside there is a very beautiful and filled museum of icons. The shop at the monastery is not very big, but you can buy something as a keepsake. The territory is well maintained, there are places for photos.
