March 31
We booked this hotel on the Ostrov website based on guest reviews. And they didn't lose. In short, the hotel is wonderful, I recommend staying here. I'm telling you what we liked.: The incredibly hospitable owners of the hotel, Aziz and Faia, welcomed us cordially, like long-awaited relatives! We stayed from March 27 to March 31 in room 4. The room has everything you need - a double bed, an open wardrobe, a table and two chairs (not plastic, but real soft ones), a shower and a full hygiene kit (soap, shampoo, brushes with paste), slippers, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, a kettle, a TV (only 1 channel was shown), water. The homemade breakfasts from Faechka are very tasty - porridge, scrambled eggs, pancakes, vegetables, envelopes with herbs, cheese, sausage, sandwiches, tea, coffee, sweets for tea, nuts and fruits. You won't stay hungry, that's for sure! In the evening, you can always come in and have tea or coffee, the hosts offer to use the shared kitchen, despite the fact that there is a kettle in the room. Laundry service is available for an additional fee. I spilled coffee on myself on the plane and it was really relevant to me. The hotel itself is located in the old town and we walked around the main attractions - Registan Square is 12-15 minutes away, Bibi Khanim Mosque is 8 minutes away, Siab Bazaar is 7 minutes away. You can also walk from Bibi Khanim to Shahi Zinda and Hazrati Khizr. And from Registan, it's a 12—minute walk to Gur Emir. These are the main attractions. I would like to mention the hotel's courtyard separately. Like many houses in Samarkand, the dwelling has a courtyard without a roof, like a well. The sun, the air, the rain - everything gets into the yard, creating a lively atmosphere! National decoration is everywhere in the hotel, cleanliness is everywhere and care is taken. Thanks to Faechka and her husband for their hospitality!
