In general, everything is well-groomed and tidy. When the weather is bad, they set up a fire and rescuers are on duty. There are places where turtles crawl ashore and lay eggs. Such places are marked with a special cone and the coastal strip is decorated with a barrier. The water is always comfortable during the seasonal months, which is from March to November!

I really love the island of Crete! Therefore, it will be difficult to evaluate the beach in Rethymno. I have been there several times, I like it, the beach is very long, equipped with sun beds, a shower, there is a place to change clothes, there are all kinds of entertainment jet skis and the like. There are many taverns, cafes, shops and car rental companies nearby. It's great to walk along the beach in the evening, towards the old town. It is also worth visiting the fortress, from there you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city and the sea. Unfortunately, there are almost no fish, so it's useless to swim with a mask. As well as a nice city beach, but do not forget that you are in Crete! Rent a car and travel, there are a lot of beautiful coves, beaches, caves, gorges and mountains on the island))
