It is one of the frequented points of both the public and tourists with its open sea view and wide walking areas. It is also of great importance because it symbolizes the founding philosophy of the Republic of Turkey and the War of Independence. In winter, there is a situation that usually results in the overflow of the sea due to rain and leaves the square in water. Other than that, it's a very nice place.
