The museum in Kapnistavi village is a mini open-air museum created on the initiative of local residents. He talks about the history, lifestyle and nature of the region. In the museum's exposition you will see: Ethnographic objects are antique items that belonged to the ancestors of the villagers. Archaeological finds, including Byzantine jars, which were brought to the region by sea. Marseilles tiles, which line the roof of the museum. According to the initiator of the museum, Zurab Bedianidze, this tile originally served as ballast on ships, and after unloading it was used to decorate houses. The museum is open 24 hours a day, the inspection is free. If you need a guide, contact a local resident, Zurab. Kapnistavi village is called the "village of seven waterfalls". In addition to the museum, you can see the ancient watermills in the gorge on the riverbank. Picnic areas with places for tents. Local wineries where you can get acquainted with the winemaking traditions of Adjara and taste wine. And don't forget about the waterfalls themselves, be careful there!
