Oh, Motsameta! It is a very beautiful place physically and spiritually! And his story! And nature! And the people working nearby...) We didn't get here in the summer on the previous trip, but now we weren't going to Kutaisi, and suddenly, because of the weather, the flight was landed in Kutaisi instead of Batumi, and I realized that I had to go to Motsameta! Google Maps said it wasn't working. But we decided to look at it from afar. We arrived, and the temple is open! It's a beautiful place. The monastery is well built in a picturesque location overlooking the river, stands on a cliff. There are a lot of tourists here on summer weekends. It's an obscene amount, and it can ruin the impression. It is better to come out of season on weekdays. Parking costs 2 GEL. If you're lucky enough to visit it :)
