Maxim's restaurant is that rare case when the word "generous" is not a figure of speech. We ordered a whole Peking duck, and they actually brought us a whole duck. Large, with crispy skin, neatly sliced, with the right balance of fat and meat. There is a huge bowl of rich soup, a mountain of pancakes, sauces without economy, fresh herbs, not tired. Four adults tried honestly, but they still couldn't do it. The portion is designed not for a tick in the menu, but for a real holiday. A separate touch is a large pot of local tea, which was served free of charge. Not a formality, but delicious, fragrant, brewed for real. The service is fast, the kitchen works clearly, without fuss. Taste is without compromise. This is a place where people go not to "try," but to eat, warm up, and come out feeling like they've been taken care of.

The most delicious Peking duck on Yalong at Maxim Cafe. Zoya is very friendly and sweet, she welcomes visitors cordially. duck has been eaten more than once, it is always very tasty, odorless duck, tender, delicious meat, thin pancakes, herbs, a portion of duck broth, delicious lamb quiche, cutlets, tom yam, vegetable salad. The portions are huge, everything is made from fresh ingredients. The prices are slightly higher than in other establishments, but it's worth it.

Great cafe. We have been there since 2019, then it was where the KFS is now. The service is fast. I don't know what people eat, or why they write such reviews. My husband and I ordered lunch with beer, which was always about 120. Tom yam is a bowl of soup with a lot of seafood. We always divided it into two, but we couldn't overpower him alone. The 98th shrimp dish is easy for two, if you order more rice with it. The fish is huge, we didn't finish it + rice + beer is also about 120 yu. If you take noodles, it turns out even less. There is always tea on the tables, which is a huge plus. We celebrated both 2020 and 2025 here. It is in this cafe. Delicious, the portions are large, friendly.
