It's a very interesting place. The thought of being in the home of a primitive Neanderthal. But in fact, there are so many cultural layers there!!!! It's as much as 11 meters thick. 500,000 years of human use, from primitive dwellings to places of sacrifice and sanctuaries of the ancient world. Cool!!! The visit itself is for 1 hour (cost 5 euros), several halls, and at the entrance there is a large pit with scaffolding where archaeologists dig. Then you get to the first hall, which has a strong peculiar smell, possibly from bats living under the dome of the hall and constantly squeaking (they are not visible in the darkness of the dome). Then there is a descent to other halls, but not very deep. You walk through several halls and stop at the bottom of the cave. There are impressive niches in the walls, reminiscent of a bed, with fused stalactites and stalagmites. It all looks very mystical. There is a layer of black earth all over the cave at the bottom, which slides a little due to humidity. There are ancient fossilized streaks on the ceiling. In general, it's interesting. Wooden steps lead up to the cave by a crooked path, they say 500, but it seemed to me that it was more. Come by car or in an organized group by bus. There is a guarded checkpoint at the entrance and a good parking lot.

Not far from Antalya, good access and Parking. We arrived at 9:00 a.m., we were the first and only visitors. Climbing wooden steps uphill. We lost 200, according to reviews out of about 450. It seemed scarier than it actually turned out to be. There is a shade and benches for relaxation in places. The path is accompanied by a magnificent view of the valley. Bats live in the cave, get ready for the noise and the peculiar smell. Inside, the temperature is comfortable and there are several halls, one with mice. In general, it's worth a visit, but it's better even earlier, it seems to be open from 8:00. Closes at 4:30 p.m.
