Unlike the options directly in Venice, the rooms are spacious and there are no eternal mosquitoes))) However, if you want to see Venice and live on the Lido in order to save money, keep in mind that this is an island that is not connected by bridges to anything. That is, you can get anywhere from it only by boat, and the fare on the cheapest vaporetto transport (it's like a bus, only a boat) is 7.5 euros per trip or 20 euros per person per day. It is not realistic to drive a hare, and if you risk it, a fine from 50 to 500 euros (yes, there are no fixed fines in Venice, only ranges in which the inspector can assign any amount) So the savings are questionable, especially if you are not planning to travel alone.
