Terrible attitude towards people with disabilities! Today my wife went into an H&M store to pick out some clothes, and since I have a disability and can't stand for long periods, I sat down on the steps near the entrance to rest. An employee came over and rudely told me to leave, saying that "sitting on the steps is not allowed." When I explained that I have a disability and just needed to wait for my wife, there was no understanding — he just repeated that I had to get up or leave the store premises. Where is basic human decency? Is it really so hard to show some compassion and let a person with a disability sit quietly for 10 minutes? Instead, I got humiliation and heartlessness. Are store rules more important than real people? H&M, you need to reconsider not just your dress code, but your treatment of customers with special needs. I will never set foot in this store again, and I advise others not to, either.
