The monastery is not operational, it operates as a museum. The ticket price for foreigners is 120 liras. Prof.shooting for an additional fee. cost. There is no dress code. They warn at the entrance that it is forbidden to pray. Most of the frescoes were lost as a result of the earthquake and vandalism. The traces of the latter are very sad to look at, but I recommend visiting! Especially for those who are interested in history.

there are mostly only walls left, fragmentary frescoes are visible in the cave church, restoration is underway, beautiful views of the city, the entrance ticket is not expensive, parking is 200 meters away.

A former women's Orthodox monastery founded in the 14th century. It has been abandoned for political reasons since 1923. It currently operates as a museum, restoration is underway, but in 100 years the monastery has been reduced to ruins. The sight of damaged and burnt frescoes makes my heart ache. But this place will not leave anyone who is interested in history indifferent. They paid 170 lire for two, the price is more than affordable. I recommend.
