The hotel is cool, we had a room with a terrace, the only one with such a view of the Golden Horn. Very polite staff, nice to be there, comfortable bed. All necessary accessories. The restaurant is downstairs, as well as the opportunity to order food directly to the room. We really liked it. I would add bathrobes to the room and refill the mini-bar (why don't they do this every day? They lose so much money, because they want a chocolate bar every day!). The location is far from all the attractions, because of this, I often had to use a taxi. But how quiet it is to sleep! There is no such noise as in the center, there are also few people. The hotel has its own shuttle to Taksim, but the time is not super convenient. The breakfasts are plentiful, the coffee is delicious)
I don't really like to write bad reviews, but here you just need .....
We chose this hotel based on a budget of 100-120 thousand, read the reviews, this hotel had a rating of 9.7 in Level Travel, some ladies just admired this place.
If they don't get along .....
So:
1. The hotel itself is just dead. At the entrance, even the lighting lamps don't work inside, the walls in the lobby are just dirty with streams of wine and something else.
2.The administrator received the documents for the settlement of muryzhin for 5 hours to finally inform us: if you want to check in right away, pay 50 euros)))
3. The rooms are simple, damaged, not trash, but also not normal, the standard for Turkish hotels in terms of area.Naturally, there is no filling except for cheap shampoo.
4. The linen was changed every other day, normal. The cleaning is very superficial.
5. Breakfast is just something... There is almost nothing useful, the omelet is cooked, but it doesn't taste like that at all... All the food, like semolina and millet with French fries. Queues, everywhere and behind everything. Once again, queues and crowding, as the cafe near the lobby is not designed for such a number of people.
There are 15-20 tables for 200-300 rooms.
I can't imagine what's going on in the season...
6. We were unlucky in early December, the children's school football team arrived, and hell broke loose. Smoking in the rooms of schoolchildren is normal, shouting in the rooms before 5 am is normal, running around and knocking out doors at 3 am is normal. Laughter, shouting at night is normal.Riding in elevators when you're waiting for an elevator, it's fun...
complaining to the receptionist, calling hotel staff, and so on didn't help... Until he came out and grabbed one of the participants. Then the kids calmed down, but only in our wing..
Administrators don't give a fig about you....
7. Location, I don't know.... we waited an hour for the bus to the historical center, but did not wait, although it runs every 20 minutes according to the schedule.
So all the time it's just a taxi.... In a Taxi, you will be stupidly bullied, called through the application. They will turn on the meter earlier, come with the meter turned on, they will fornicate on different streets and so on. In 9 days, there was only one taxi driver who took exactly as much as the meter showed.(there were about 20 trips) Private traders are generally trash, one for 10 km, can say $ 20, and the other can say $ 85.although it costs 100 lire.
8. Cafes and catering nearby, although we often visit the UAE for work, compared to Dubai, the residential area where this hotel is located is 2-2.5 more expensive than catering in the UAE.
8. Breakfast at the Hotel with scrambled eggs or omelet is $ 20 per person.
9. Attention: tea at the hotel is 100 lira.... for a small cup....
In general, the worst hotel in which we rested in Turkey.
I'm not talking about the service at all - it's stupidly not there...
The hotel itself is not bad in principle. But... It's far from the center. Very. To get there either by taxi or by bus. Before leaving, we found out that there is a shuttle. No one said. Although they found out how to get to the center. The only attraction is the Miniature Park directly opposite. Breakfast is plentiful, but many things are not very tasty, even sweets. Freeze-dried coffee is a rare muck. For Turkey, this is at least strange. The declared terrace is one common balcony, there is no roof over it, 2 chairs are always wet, dirty, you can only go out in street shoes, no one has cleaned the terrace for a week. So in my opinion, high marks are greatly exaggerated.
