Well, what can I say.. Exchange for Russians only by passport, even in small exchange offices. You know, it's a shame for Russians, we welcome people of all nationalities with joy, because we remember that we used to live in the same country. And arriving in Kazakhstan and not exchanging rubles at the border, you risk not leaving at all, because you will be left without money - no bank will accept your card, no exchanger will change rubles without a passport, fearing something. This rule was introduced recently. They say it's because of the sanctions. RS. The guard at this point is a very humane, good guy, it was obvious that he sincerely felt sorry for us, let everything be fine with him.
