I wanted to go for a couple of days in Plovdiv with my friend! We rented this hotel because it is located in the very center of the old town. Unfortunately, all bus tickets from Slonchev Bryaga were sold out. We wanted to warn the hotel that we might not arrive for a paid reservation, but the contact number indicated in the booking did not respond. Therefore, we tried to contact the hotel owner through the bank's application, where we paid for the reservation. After all, we arrived by train from Burgas. We're terribly tired. Upon check-in, the receptionist (a large elderly man without hair) started yelling from the doorway that bank employees were trying to contact him. He said, "Whether or not you will come and when is your problem, not mine." When we asked about breakfast, the receptionist (still the same large elderly man without hair) became even more nervous, voiced different cost figures, shouted, gesticulated, his phrases and behavior already looked frightening, we just wanted to stop this ridiculous communication and check into the room, take a shower from the road, but to our requests to give the key The room was followed by phrases from the receptionist: "would you take breakfast for free?", "what do you like for free!". As a result, he shouted that he didn't need our money and took us to a room. The room is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. There are towels and slippers. There is no kettle, just one outlet for charging phones. A delicate detail: a roll of paper for two people for 2 days. An amazing surprise was the requirement of the receptionist to return before 24.00 and this is at the stated 24-hour reception desk. There are various sliced pieces of paper with numbers and letters in the hallway, but there is no Wi-Fi connection. It was already scary to ask a large elderly man without hair anything after experiencing the shock of the experience of communicating with him, especially since we read the reviews of the British, whom he "cursed and promised to wring his neck," moreover, we discovered that only recently the owner of the establishment (apparently, this large elderly man without hair because there are simply no other men there, there is no one else there at all) won the court, where he was acquitted of punching a local barrier guard in the face. We were scared and decided not to make the situation worse. There is a constant hum in the room at night, like a hood, although everything is turned off. The fact that I booked a twin-bed was also ignored. On the second day, we returned to the hotel at 23:35, the door was already closed, that is, even playing by his rules, you will still lose in this quest. We rang the bell and the same big, elderly man with no hair came out to us, this time in his UNDERPANTS, and told us that the wrong button had been pressed (if that had been the case, he would not have come out). This is the most unexpected experience of renting a hotel room in my entire life. If you want to feel like you're renting a room from a grandfather with dementia, go to Boris Palace.
