Good organization, clean beach, clean water. The paid area, however, is not cheap. In August, the vacationers are all Italians, there are practically no foreigners. Palermo itself is still 50 minutes away by bus, since Mondello, although now considered part of the city, is a former fishing village, like a suburb of Palermo. There is almost nowhere to buy food, only a lot of "catering", for those who are not used to eating three times a day in eateries and restaurants, this is a problem. We had to take groceries from Auchan by taxi. If you rent a car, this is the best option for staying there.
