A unique monument to the grandeur of the Expo in the middle of the 20th century! The times when science and technical thought entered our lives, which seemed fantastic yesterday, nuclear energy, space flights, radio communications and electronics! Atomium is an unusual landmark that has become one of the symbols of Brussels. There are 6 spheres available for visiting: at the base, 3 lower ones, the central sphere and the uppermost sphere, inside which there is a restaurant and an observation deck. The Atomium is located on the outskirts of the city. I walked from the center to here (it took a little over an hour). On the way, I saw a completely different city with neighborhoods of migrants from Turkey and the Middle East. But it's clean and beautiful enough.

An interesting and unusual building. Of course, it doesn't reach the famous sights yet. Something is missing so far. There are few visitors, they entered without queues. We took the elevator up. We visited the observation deck in the upper sphere and the restaurant. We also took the elevator down and walked along the lower balls and passageways. The impression is average, not wow. 5 stars in advance.

They kept it well, but earlier there was a large exposition inside on how they saw the future in the 50s. There were desks, telephones, computers, clothes.... It was interesting, but now it's gone. Instead, they made room and made halls for musical relaxation. Also ok… But the fact is that this is one of the few art objects of the EXPO -1958 exhibition that has been preserved!
