I really liked the location of the hotel. In the historical part of Gagra, near the Seaside Park, the Colonnade, across the street the final stop of buses and minibuses, as well as pharmacies and shops. The territory is very beautiful and clean, with its own beach on the first line and a good heated swimming pool. We were in June, there were a lot of people, but you can always find a free sunbed by the sea and by the pool. There is a bar near the sea, everything that was taken there was delicious, the price was normal, the bartenders were friendly. In the evening, who needs a hookah, music, but there is no unnecessary noise. The beach is clean, but there are a lot of boulders in the water, which is unsafe. The water is cold in the middle of June. The food is excellent, buffet style. It's almost the same for breakfast, although the selection is large and some positions vary. Cheesecakes are very tasty, croissants too, without filling, but you can add natural jam or jam yourself. Coffee is not very good from drip coffee makers. Breakfast was included, and we bought extra dinner. Adults 1,500, children under 12 1,000 rubles. At dinner, the dishes were almost never repeated, the variety was great, I liked everything, rolled out like a bun. The daughter was picky for dinner, she took only soup and dessert with juice, although there were French fries, nuggets, cutlets, meatballs, pilaf, various meats, fresh and stewed or baked vegetables, salads. Our room was superior in building 3. The case, as I understand it, is new after repair. The repair is simple, but everything worked, the pressure in the shower is very strong. Only the design is not very successful. The shower is installed in the bathtub and there is a small partition that can be opened and closed, naturally there is a gap between the bathtub and the glass partition. And the water gets on the floor through this crack, I had to wipe the water with a foot towel. The cleaning was done every day, and the maids always greeted each other on the floor, which was nice. The room itself is two-room with a large balcony. There is a small dryer on the balcony, and then they found an even larger outdoor dryer in the room. One room has a large double bed, a wardrobe with a safe, a table, a chair, a TV and air conditioning. The second sofa, which has already been laid out and made for us, has a large hanger with a shelf for suitcases and a full-length wall mirror. The view from the balcony was to the parking lot, but you could admire the mountains and the castle of the Prince of Oldenburg. The rooms on the opposite side faced the sea, it's probably beautiful there. There are no bathrobes in the room, but there are slippers, cups, glasses, a kettle and tea with sugar, pieces of soap in the bathroom and gel and shampoo dispensers. The iron and ironing board are on the floor in the hallway. I am 100% satisfied with the hotel, it justifies its 4*, although my daughter (12 years old) The hotel seemed out of date, but I liked it for its authenticity. The walls of the ancient fortress around the hotel, the ancient church can be said on the territory, the sea is just a stone's throw away, palm trees and flowers, quiet and peaceful.

We stayed in Abaat once, although the experience of visiting the hotel was not a one-time experience, and at different times of the year. We are impressed by the careful preservation of historical details in this hotel, the atmosphere, the architecture, the small but very cozy and well-maintained territory. I consider the trump card of the hotel to be its location on the seashore in close proximity to the sights of Gagra, its own beach (there is something to strive for regarding its equipment), the presence of an outdoor heated swimming pool, parking, a fur hat, and animators. Unfortunately, the Spa in the hotel is provided for a fee, taking into account (as I think it's still an inflated cost of living) this service could be provided as a bonus). We lived in the main building in a room on the ground floor with direct access to the street, a very comfortable one-night stay. A family of children stayed for a long time in the main building on the 3rd floor in a spacious room with a balcony. The rooms are clean, standard in content, and there are enough bath accessories and appliances. I also rate the quest as a minus when choosing rooms on the official website. The hotel consists of several buildings, although the rooms in the main building, and even more so in the "Chalet" building, may be oriented towards the courtyard, which, believe me, is not very comfortable. The cost of rooms on the hotel's website is available on request, prices are dynamic, there is a bonus system for regular customers, but it is easier to purchase accommodation from aggregators. In summary, the cost of accommodation and the services provided, alas, are not competitive with many decent offers in Gagra. But I still recommend visiting this hotel at least once. P.S. the hotel has a webcam with a view of the pool, we from Russia watched the children while they rested without us)

I went to Abkhazia with a group, the main goal is yoga. The location turned out to be gorgeous: the mountains and the sea create the most unobtrusive vibe of a vacation when you don't want to run anywhere. The hotel itself is a godsend. We lived right on the territory of the fortress, and the room had a view of the Prince of Oldenburg Castle. The beauty is amazing! At the same time, the territory also has a place to stop the eye: lots of greenery, flowers, a well-maintained swimming pool. The rooms are comfortable, there is everything you need. We even had a balcony in the bathroom — an unusual feature! We cleaned every day, and this is a separate respect for the staff.: I'm not a fan of perfect order, but when you return to the room, and there is cleanliness and order, the mood immediately improves. The staff is generally good: the drivers are pleasant, the maids are responsible, the guys in the kitchen are trying their best. Buffet breakfasts: hearty, delicious and plenty of choice. We ate outside with a beautiful view — the morning started great. By the way, meals are not included, and this is a plus — you can walk and taste food in the city. We went to the teahouse next to the hotel. In general, if you want a calm, beautiful and spiritual rest without fuss, I highly recommend it. Bottom line: rested both body and soul. Thanks to the entire hotel team!
