To get inside and view the exhibition, you first need to arrange a guided tour at the Museum of the Belarusian Polesie. Self-inspection is not yet possible, there is no escrow factory in the palace itself. The Butrimovich Palace is an architectural monument of the XVIII century, a building of a mixed architectural type: baroque and classicism styles are combined with improvisations of canonical forms in details and fragments. It was erected by order of Mateusz Butrimowicz, a well-known political figure of the time. The first stone in the foundation of the future palace in Pinsk was laid by the last king of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Stanislav August Poniatowski. Butrimovich's other high patron was Hetman Mikhail Kazimir Oginsky. In 2008, the Butrimovich Palace was renovated and became one of the most beautiful Wedding palaces in the country, as well as a branch of the Museum of the Belarusian Polesie.

The Butrimovich Palace, built in 1794 on Pinsk's main street, deserves special attention. This is a transitional type of architecture, from Baroque to classicism, with the improvisation of canonical forms in individual fragments and details. What remains of the Baroque in the architecture of the palace is the construction of a plan with concave curved outlines of the corner parts, the oval shape of the main hall, and the traditional division of the facade into two tiers, contrasting in their decorative treatment. The interpretation of the order is extraordinary. Thus, the end facades are decorated with four Doric order columns grouped in pairs, with each pair shifted to the middle. As a result, the corner parts of the entablature do not rest on the columns, but protrude. The palace is symmetrical. Its three buildings form the main courtyard, which is open towards the Pina. This combination of buildings led to a more complicated layout of the building in the corners and increased the plasticity of the main facade. The middle building is reserved for formal rooms, the side buildings are occupied by living rooms and offices. The central place is occupied by an oval hall, pushed forward and opened onto the terrace. This fragment of the facade in the form of a kind of bay window is most richly decorated. On the river side, the building is represented by a small front courtyard; the facade has a more intimate character. The interiors of the palace are generally Baroque in nature, but there are also elements of classical architecture. The building houses the Palace of Pioneers and Schoolchildren

This palace is currently the registry office building. In my opinion, it is a worthy use of historical value. It is as good as the entire Pinsk pedestrian street. Therefore, if you are lucky enough to visit the beautiful city of Pinsk and you are strolling along the embankment or along the central pedestrian street, do not pass by, go see the Palace with your own eyes.
