February, 2026. The three of us stopped by for breakfast, quickly made an order (the menu is small), and received chilled water with lemon to start with). The Belarusian and Norwegian breakfast from our order was being prepared from under the knife, so we waited patiently). Even for a winter breakfast, the amount of food was plentiful :). It turned out to be almost a breakfast snack. Two fried eggs, draniki, cabbage with cranberries, bread, sour cream, slices of brisket, pork sausage with garlic, sour cream - this is one portion of the Belarusian breakfast. The Norwegian breakfast was no less! I had to spend time and work hard))). I'm sorry that I didn't have a chance to try tinctures and have lunch. I'll have to come to Grodno to visit Grusha again! Thank you for the delicious food!

A great atmospheric and cozy place! A glass of cold water while you're waiting for an order, and an ashtray if you want to smoke a cigarette at a table outside. The portions are huge, but the main thing is that it's delicious! The order included a salad with shrimp, beef tongue with grilled vegetables, chopped cutlet with egg and potatoes. The cutlet is really chopped, it breaks up into pieces of meat, the shrimp is large and fresh, the sauces for hot and salad are simply awesome. We had a delicious dinner! The bartender/waiter forgot about the order, tried to convince me that I had not ordered anything (despite the fact that there were 3 people sitting at the table). We did not hear either hello or goodbye during 3 hours in this institution. Being with a displeased face and glaring at the client during the entire time you are there is simply unprofessional. This place has always been highly recommended to everyone, especially because of Pavel the bartender. We always had an incredible pleasure from visiting. The cafe is quite small, but there are tables outside. In the arch. Nearby there is a store of "prison" products, also one of the features of Grodno. The food is excellent and delicious. The place is suitable for the purpose of visiting the old town. Maybe I should recommend a little more cleanliness. We traveled around Belarus, visited Minsk, Brest and Grodno. We chose the establishments with the highest rating to leave the best impressions of the Belarusian cuisine. Of the whole trip, we were most impressed by the food in this particular cafe "At the Pear". The ribs served with borscht are simply delicious! Pancakes with tartare are fantastic! Tinctures are the best in all of Belarus! We came here for breakfast and dinner. We highly recommend this cafe with delicious food and reasonable prices!

I ordered borscht and roast. So the borscht was served after 40 minutes, and the roast after another 15 minutes. 2. Supposedly the dumplings for borscht were the most common buns from the store. And one of them is already completely dry. 3. When ordering, I was surprised to hear that there are no number of items! 4. The room is small and the distance between the bar and the table is very small, and when visitors arrive, you almost immediately look at their backs. That's how it is. The drinks were brought immediately, they didn't tell about the waiting for the dishes, they didn't remember about the drinks, what about the food, the warm Bumblebee would have cooled down in 20 minutes+, I had to drink. They brought some toast after the drinks... When we ate the croutons, another 10 minutes passed, then only the salad was brought. The meat in the salad is dry and not cut. They put the salad right under the bush. The pear and sauce are delicious. But the midges were flying over the table. It's not fun to eat alone, but how did it happen... about 5 more minutes after finishing the salad and. They both brought the roast right away, the mushrooms are very salty. There were only 2 sets of appliances, although there were more dishes, so they stole a fork and ran for a new one. The pancakes were brought hot. The tiramisu was not brought even in the process of eating hot. And in the end, they forgot about him until we reminded them.. They didn't report the instruments and ran after them, and after the tiramisu they ran... the tiramisu was liquid on top, coffee on the bottom, and the pear was rotten. Similarly, the pear did not come out in the pancakes.. There was a bonus on kiwi, they didn't swear, they didn't have the strength.. It was bad, but I want to believe that it wasn't from your reception, it was a very atmospheric place...

There was a real sauna in the room, I couldn't really sleep. The windows were wide open, but they didn't help much, and the noise was terrible from the street. At 7.15 there are already active conversations under the window. An air conditioner and a closed window would solve this problem. And there was also a musty smell in the room due to the heat. Who doesn't care, OK. It was unpleasant for us. If the weather is like this, I don't recommend it. The rest of the time it should be better, convenient location, beautiful room in an old house, close to everything on foot.
