St. Wojteh, also known as the Apostle of the North, is represented in a sculpture installed on the monument to St. Wenceslaus in Prague. He was the first Slavic saint and martyr. The sculpture was installed in 1913 and symbolizes the cultural and religious heritage of the Czech Republic. St. Voytech is also known as the patron saint of warriors, travelers and fishermen.
