Concerts are currently being held in this church. And it's wonderful to listen to classical music and at the same time look at the painting by the famous Venetian artist Vittore Carpaccio in the altar. The concert programs are different, but Vivaldi sounds special in the walls of the Venetian church.

Just behind the Academy Bridge, a little to the left, there is this church, inconspicuous from the outside, but amazing with its sculptures inside. The side altars feature works by artists of the XVII—XVIII centuries of the Venetian school of painting. The first altar on the left is decorated with the painting "Immaculate Conception" by Sebastiano Ricci. In the second altar on the left is an altarpiece of the crucified Christ and the apostles by Julia Lama, surrounded by two eighteenth-century sculptures, Patriarch Simeon and St. Joseph, attributed to Antonio Tarsia. The right wall: "The Trinity with Saints Peter and Francesco di Paola" by Giovanni Antonio Pellegrini. The upper lunette is decorated with the composition "Ascension of the Virgin Mary" (Assunta) by Antonio Vassilacchi. In the third altar on the left is a painting by Angelo Trevisani. An altarpiece from 1730, created by Giovanni Battista Piazzetta and depicting Saint Louis IX and Saint Anthony of Padua. Legend has it that the outstanding Italian composer Baldassare Galuppi was buried in the church of San Vidal, but there is no memorial plaque attesting to this.

On the way to the Academy Bridge, I saw this very elegant church, and it turned out that it is now more of a concert hall than a temple. Classical music concerts are often held here. There were always overly persistent collectors of signatures around the entrance to the church in favor of something.
