Terms of Use of Yandex ID Service

1. General Provisions

1.1. YANDEX LLC (hereinafter referred to as Yandex) offers the Internet user (hereinafter referred to as the User) to use the Yandex ID service (hereinafter referred to as the Service), which provides the opportunity to register and authorize an account (Yandex ID) to use the services provided by YANDEX LLC and/or its affiliates including those belonging to the same group with YANDEX LLC (hereinafter referred to as the Yandex Services), as well as individual functions in accordance with these Yandex ID Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the Terms).

1.2. These Terms form an addendum and an integral part of the User Agreement for Yandex Services (https://yandex.com/legal/rules) regarding the use of Yandex services.

In all matters not covered by these Terms, the relations between Yandex and the User in using the Yandex ID shall be governed by:

• User Agreement for Yandex Services (https://yandex.com/legal/rules);
• Privacy Policy (https://yandex.com/legal/confidential) (hereinafter referred to as the Regulatory Documents),

1.3. By starting to use the Service/its certain functions, the User shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and terms of all of the above documents, in full, without any reservations or exceptions. If the User disagrees with any of the provisions of the said documents, the User may not use the Service.

1.4. Yandex may amend these Terms without any special notice; revised Terms shall come into effect once posted online at the URL specified in this paragraph, unless otherwise stipulated in revised Terms. The Terms in force are always available at: https://yandex.com/legal/termsofuse.

1.5. If Yandex has made any amendments to these Terms according to the procedure specified in Clause 1.4 hereof, and the User disagrees with these amendments, the User shall cease using the Service.

1.6. By using the Service, the User gives its consent to receiving informative and promotional messages. The User may unsubscribe from promotional messages by using relevant functions of the Service or following instructions specified in a promotional message received.

2. Registration of a User Yandex ID, Authorization with the Use of Yandex ID in Yandex Services

2.1. In order to use some Yandex Services or some of individual functions thereof, the User having reached the age of 14, may complete the registration procedure, as a result of which a unique account (Yandex ID) will be created for the User.

If the User has not reached the specified age, as well as in cases where applicable law requires so, the use of the Yandex Services shall be allowed only with the consent of parents or other legal representatives (hereinafter referred to as a Parent), or using a Children's Account registered by a Parent in accordance with the procedure stipulated by Clause 4.2. of the Terms.

2.2. The User shall register by filling out the Yandex ID registration form on a special registration page or in the separate Yandex Service application, or using alternative means offered in the registration form, e.g., an account of a third-party resource etc.

When registering, the User must provide their current mobile phone number for the purposes of secure authorization to Yandex ID, restoring access to User’s account in case of account credentials loss, communication with the User regarding the provision of Yandex services (except for marketing communications, unless the User’s separate consent has been obtained), prevention of misuse or improper use among the Users (registration of multiple accounts, fictitious accounts registration etc.).

2.3. Means to Access Yandex ID.

2.3.1. When registering, the User shall solely choose its own user name (a unique symbolic user name) and password to access Yandex ID.

In this case, authorization shall be carried out provided that the login and password are indicated correctly in the authorization form. Yandex may prohibit the use of certain user names, as well as to set requirements for login and password (length, allowed characters, etc.).

2.3.2. The User may be given the opportunity to undergo a simplified registration and authorization procedure in Yandex ID, inter alia, by:

2.3.2.1 specifying the mobile phone number (in some cases also indicating the User's last name and first name). The User shall carry out the subsequent authorization in Yandex Services by specifying the mobile phone number during registration and the confirmation code sent to it (it may be necessary to specify the surname and first name provided during registration).

2.3.2.2 using third-party resource accounts. By choosing this means to access Yandex ID, the User shall agree to receive User data from third-party information resources on the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy (https://yandex.com/legal/confidential). The User shall independently control the reliability of the means of access to a third-party resource selected by it and the safety of credentials.

The use of individual services and/or individual functions of the Yandex Services, as well as the ability to restore access to Yandex ID created in a simplified manner, may not be available. In order to use the Yandex Services functionality in full, the User may need to complete additional registration under the terms and conditions set out in Clause 2.3.1 of the Terms. 2.4. The User shall be solely liable for the security (including resistance to guessing) and the safety of the means selected by it to access Yandex ID, and also independently ensure their confidentiality.

In case of loss of access to Yandex ID, the User may refer to the procedure for restoring access in the procedure posted at: https://yandex.ru/support/id/support-restore.html.

Yandex may refuse to satisfy the User's request to restore access if it is impossible for the User to comply with the established procedure and if there is no confirmation of the User's explicit ownership of the requested Yandex ID.

2.5. In order to ensure the security of User data (or User category), Yandex may determine additional measures to protect Yandex ID, including mandatory authorization using the User's phone number specified in Yandex ID, request additional information and restrict access to Yandex ID in case of suspicious activity.

2.6. After the User logs in to Yandex ID, authorization may be automatically saved in the device browser and may not require additional entering of Yandex ID access data each time Yandex services are used. The Yandex ID User data automatically saved in the device browser may be used to access any Yandex Services, including services, websites, applications and other software products.

2.7. The User shall be solely responsible for all actions (as well as their consequences) within or using Yandex Services with the User's Yandex ID. All actions within or using Yandex Services with the use of Yandex ID shall be deemed performed by the User itself, except for the cases when the User, in accordance with the procedure stipulated by Clause 2.8., notified Yandex of unauthorized access to Yandex Services using User's Yandex ID and/or of any violation (suspicion of violation) of the confidentiality of its means of access to Yandex ID (mobile phone number, password, or two‑factor authentication means).

2.8. The User undertakes to immediately notify Yandex of any unauthorized (not authorized by the User) access to Yandex's Services with user account and/or of any breach (suspected breach) of confidentiality of its Yandex ID access means. Yandex will not be held liable for any possible loss of or damage to data and any other consequences of any kind that may result from the User violating provisions of these Terms.

3. Yandex ID User Data

3.1. The User undertakes to provide reliable and complete information about itself and to update the information in a timely manner. If the User provides incorrect information or Yandex has reasons to believe that the information provided by the User is incomplete or unreliable, Yandex may, at its sole discretion, block or delete the User's Yandex ID and deny the User use its services (or individual functions thereof).

3.2. User's Yandex ID may contain the following data about the User:

• Full name;
• mobile phone number;
• e-mail address (additional);
• gender;
• date of birth;
• addresses specified when using Yandex Services;
• image for the account (Account image).

User data may be obtained from the User when registering an account, when adding information to Yandex ID personal account, as well as during subsequent use of the Yandex Services (including filling out forms in the Yandex Services).

Account data may be used in Yandex Services for the following purposes:

• authorization and access to Yandex Services;
• information autofill in Yandex Service forms;
• restoring access in case of problems with authorization in Yandex Services,
• necessary communication with the User on issues related to the use of Yandex Services (for example, in cases of notification on any suspicious activity using the User's account, about important changes in Yandex Services that may affect the rights and interests of the User, etc.);
• personalization of Yandex Services, providing the most complete recommendations and functional settings of Yandex Services;
• conducting depersonalized analytical, statistical, and marketing research.

The User may clarify the account details at any time, as well as delete the same in the Yandex ID personal account.

The User's personal information defined by the Privacy Policy and contained in Yandex ID shall be kept and processed by Yandex in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy (https://yandex.com/legal/confidential).

3.3. The User may upload an Account Image in the Yandex ID personal account, as well as set up a name that can accompany the materials posted by the User as part of the use of Yandex Services, including comments, reviews, etc. (User Name).

If the User has not set up the User Name, it shall be displayed in the format: first and last name specified by the User in the registration form or in the corresponding fields of the Yandex ID personal account.

The account image and User Name shall comply with the requirements of Section 4 of the User Agreement for Yandex Services (https://yandex.com/legal/rules). In case of non-compliance of the User's Name and/or Image with these requirements, Yandex may delete the User's Name and/or Image or apply other measures stipulated by Clause 5.3. hereof.

3.3.1. The User acknowledges and agrees that the Account Image and User Name may accompany the materials posted by the User as part of the use of the Yandex Services and will be available to an unlimited number of persons.

The User agrees that Yandex may display the Account Image and User Name in Yandex services, in advertising products, corporate blogs and Yandex accounts on third-party resources.

The image of the User's account may be accompanied by a special indicator of the User's Yandex.Plus subscription, provided on the Terms of Yandex.Plus subscription (https://yandex.ru/legal/yandex_plus_conditions/?lang=en).

The Account Image, User Name and other information uploaded by the User, posted by the User and available in the Yandex Services, specified by the User, shall be subject to display to the general public for the purposes of providing the corresponding Yandex Service and personalization of Users. This information (including personal data) shall not be intended for collection and further dissemination by third parties, except for the cases where such purpose is expressly specified in the terms of the relevant service.

3.4. Users shall be offered on option of keeping documents specified in Yandex Services in the Yandex ID personal account. The procedure for managing Yandex ID data shall be governed by the terms of use of the Document Storage in Yandex ID function, available at: https://yandex.ru/legal/id_storage.

3.5. The User may manage the Linked Cards data using the Yandex ID personal account. The addition, use, and management of Linked Card data shall be governed by the terms and conditions available at: https://yandex.ru/legal/bank_card.

3.6. The User who has specified and confirmed a mobile phone number may have access to the functionality of requesting an archive with the personal information that shall be kept and processed by Yandex in order to view and save such information on the User's device, as well as the functionality of sending a request to delete any personal information.

The specified functionality shall be available in the Data Management section in Yandex ID (https://passport.yandex.ru/profile). More detailed information about data management may be found at: https://yandex.ru/support/id/data.html.

3.7. Yandex reserves the right at any time to require the User to confirm the data specified in the Yandex ID (including the Linked Card data).

For the purposes of data verification, Yandex may request supporting documents (in particular, identity documents), the failure to provide which, at the discretion of Yandex, may be equated to the provision of false information and entail the consequences provided for in Clause 3.1 of the Terms.

If the User's data specified in the documents provided by it does not correspond to the data specified in Yandex ID, as well as in the case when the data specified in Yandex ID does not allow identifying the User, Yandex may deny the User access to Yandex ID and use of Yandex Services.

4. Additional Features of Yandex ID. Types of Accounts

4.1. Family Account

In order to use some Yandex services or some individual functions of the services, the User may be given the opportunity to create a family account (hereinafter referred to as a Family Account). The person who initiated the creation of the Family Account (hereinafter referred to as the Family Account Owner) may add members to the Family Account, as well as configure the parameters of the Family Account in the Yandex ID personal account. If the User has previously created a Family Account in separate Yandex Services, its management may be transferred to the Yandex ID personal account.

Yandex may set limits on the number of Users included in the Family Account, as well as on the number of requests sent to include Users in the Family Account.

The specifics of using a Family Account may be regulated by separate terms of use of specific Yandex Services.

4.2. Children's Account

4.2.1. Creating a Children's Account

The User (hereinafter in this clause referred to as the Parent) shall be given the opportunity to create a Yandex Services User account with limited rights for persons under the age of 14 (hereinafter referred to as the Children's Account) using the Yandex ID functionality (hereinafter referred to as the Parent's Account).

To confirm the possibility of managing a Children's Account, the Parent shall verify the Parent Account by mobile phone number. Children's Account activation without adding the mobile phone number of the User of the Parent account shall be impossible.

When creating a Children's Account, the Parent will create a new account with information about the Children's Account User (first name, last name, age, etc.), and also set the login and password of the Children's Account. At their discretion, the Parent may add an Image of the Children's Account User.

A Children's Account allows a Parent to choose an age limit for a Children's Account User to access content in Yandex services. The category shall be selected by the Parent at their discretion, Yandex shall not check the selected category for the real age of the Children's Account User.

The display of the Children's User Account shall be accompanied by a special indicator in the Yandex ID interface, showing the account status.

4.2.2. By creating a Children's Account, the Parent

• accepts the terms of the User Agreement for Yandex Services, the Privacy Policy and these Terms with respect to the use of the Children's Account;
• acknowledges and agrees that as part of the use of the Children's Account, the User of the Children's Account may be able to use Yandex Services provided in full or limited functionality (depending on the specifics and settings of the Yandex Service for the Children's Account). At the same time, the person accepting the terms of use of the corresponding Yandex Service shall be a Parent or a Children's Account User, depending on the achievement of legal capacity age by the User of the Children's Account User in accordance with the requirements of applicable laws;
• acts as the person responsible for the User's use of the Yandex ID Children's Account, Yandex Services and individual functions thereof;
• acknowledges and agrees that their personal data may be obtained from the User of the Children's Account, processed under the terms of the Privacy Policy as part of the provision of Yandex services to the User of the Children's Account (https://yandex.com/legal/confidential);
• acknowledges and agrees that the data on the presence of a Children's Account in the Family Account, as well as certain data specified in the Children's Account, may be used for the purpose of personalizing the functions of Yandex Services offered to the Parent and/or Administrator;
• acknowledges and agrees that the content filtering measures applied to the Children's Account shall be automated and shall not exclude the occurrence of failures, errors and possible display of pages with information not intended for persons under the age limit set by the Parent. The use of a Children's Account shall not guarantee complete security and does not replace the parental control function when minors use the Internet;
• acknowledges and agrees that Yandex shall not verify the real age of the Children's Account User, as well as whether the Parent has the authority of a legal representative in relation to the Children's Account User;
• acknowledges and agrees that Yandex shall take additional content filtering measures within the Yandex Services, while it may not apply any restrictive measures regarding third-party sites when a Children's Account User directly accesses them.

4.2.3. Managing a Children's Account

After creating a Children's Account, the User of such an account may use Yandex Services by authorizing with the login and password specified by the Parent.

The parent shall exercise control over the Children's Account management, including the ability to: set, change the credentials of the Children's Account, enter, modify, delete the Children's Account data, set age limits for the content available on the Children's Account, grant the Children's Account User access to the Linked Card installed as a means of family payment, etc.

The Parent may grant access to the management of the Children's Account to another User who is in the Family Account and has reached the age of 14 (hereinafter referred to as the Administrator). The Administrator shall have the capabilities specified in this clause. Deleting a Children's Account or performing other functions that require confirmation using the Parent's confirmed phone number shall be possible only if the Parent's mobile phone number is confirmed.

A Parent or Administrator may invite an already added Family Account User to use a Children's Account. By sending a link to convert the User's account into a Children's Account, the Parent must agree to the terms of Clause 4.2. hereof in full.

4.2.4. Using a Children's Account

The use of Yandex services, if the same have the relevant functionality, shall be available in the Children's Account, subject to the specified age limits. By default, a Children's Account assumes a Family search, that is, an automatic filtering mode and exclusion of pages not intended for minors from search results. The entrance to pages with potentially unintended content for such persons will be blocked with the display of the corresponding notification.

4.2.5. When the Children's Account User reaches the age of 14, the Parent may cancel the settings of the Children's Account, as a result of which the Children's Account User will be given the opportunity to use this account as an independent Yandex ID without restrictions after confirming this action on his/her part.

4.3. The User may have access to the functionality of searching for information about unpaid fines for an administrative offense in the field of traffic, parking and landscaping (hereinafter referred to as the Fine), paying the Fines found and enabling notifications on new Fines in relation to the vehicle specified by the User. The information about Fines is provided by the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services (Functions) Federal State Information System (Portal of Public Services (USIA), https://esia.gosuslugi.ru/login).

To search and monitor information about Fines in the special Fines section on the User's profile page in Yandex ID, the User shall provide vehicle data (vehicle registration certificate number) and the number of the User's driver's license. In order to provide functionality, the User data shall be transferred to Raschetnye Sistemy, LLC (OGRN 1107847325519). Yandex shall process the received data under the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy (https://yandex.com/legal/confidential) for the purposes of providing information and storing the received data in the personal account of the Yandex ID service.

In case of receiving information about the presence of Fines in relation to the vehicle specified by the User, the User may pay the Fine using the Yandex Pay service (https://yandex.ru/legal/token_pay_termsofuse). Information about Fines found and paid shall be available to the user in the interface of the Fines section.

The functionality of the service shall be provided "as is". Yandex does not guarantee the accuracy, uninterrupted operation of the function, as well as the timely payment of a Fine. The User undertakes to independently verify the accuracy and completeness of the data provided by it, as well as the information about any existing Fines.

When enabling notification on the presence of new Fines, Yandex shall inform the User by sending push messages using the Yandex mobile application (https://yandex.com/legal/search_mobile_agreement), or in any other way using the contact details specified by the User in the Yandex service account. Yandex does not guarantee the sending of notifications regarding the Fines, as well as the timeliness of sending and receiving such notification by the User.

4.4. The User may have access to the functionality of viewing information about payments made using its account in some Yandex services. For individual payments, the User may also have access to information about the receipt of the corresponding transaction.

The specified functionality shall be made available in the Payments section on the User's profile page in Yandex ID (https://passport.yandex.ru/profile).

Yandex does not guarantee the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the displayed information.

5. Limitations. Yandex ID Deletion

5.1. When using Yandex ID, the User may not:

• use Yandex ID in violation of the requirements stipulated by the User Agreement for Yandex Services (https://yandex.com/legal/rules);
• transfer the means of access to Yandex ID to any third party (except for the cases set forth herein), as well as assign, sell, exchange, perform any other transactions the subject of which is Yandex ID and/or access thereto;
• mislead users about Yandex ID belonging to any person or organization;
• use Yandex ID for the purpose of committing illegal actions.

5.2. Certain categories of User accounts may restrict or prohibit the use of certain Yandex services or individual functions thereof if it is provided for during registration or in the terms of use of a particular service.

5.3. Restricting Access to Yandex ID.

Yandex may block or delete the User's Yandex ID, as well as prohibit access using Yandex ID to certain Yandex services (or to certain functions of the service, if technologically possible), and delete any content posted using Yandex ID without explanation, inter alia, in the following cases:

• detection of suspicious User activity in the Yandex service;
• failure to pass the internal moderation procedure;
• if the User's actions or the information posted violate these Terms, the Agreement or the terms of other documents specified in Clause 1.2. hereof, the terms of use of the relevant service, applicable law;
• violation by the User of the rights and legitimate interests of Yandex, other Users of Yandex services, third parties, or the creation of threats of such violation.

5.4. Termination of the User's Yandex ID.

The User may delete its account (Yandex ID) at any time by using a special function in the Yandex ID personal account. To delete Yandex ID, it shall be required to specify and confirm the User's phone number for security purposes.

The account (Yandex ID) shall be deleted in the following manner:

5.4.1. the account shall be automatically blocked for a period of one month, during which the User's access to its account becomes impossible, while the content posted using such account may be deleted;

5.4.2. if the User's account is restored by the User within the above period, access to the User's account will be restored, however, the content posted through it may not be subject to restoration;

5.4.3. if the User's account is not restored within the above period, all content posted using it will be automatically deleted, and the login will be available for use by other users. Thereafter, it will be impossible to restore the account, any information related to it, as well as access Yandex services using this account.

5.4.4. The procedure for deleting a Yandex ID created using a simplified registration procedure (Clause 2.3.2 hereof) may differ from the above, in particular, it may not provide for a temporary possibility of recovery.

5.4.5. The procedure set out in Clauses 5.4.1 through 5.4.4. of the Terms shall also apply to the prohibition of access using any account to certain services.

5.4.6. Deleting the account of the Family Account Owner shall be possible only if there are no Users with a Children's Account in the Family Account.
